Chapter 71 - Chapter 64: After Victory

The mall was silent, except for the whimpers and cries of the men, women, and even children laid down on the cold tiled floor. Some of them being pushed down by the boots of their captives.

Twenty people in this criminal crew stood around, some pacing, others pressing their hard boots onto their victims. All dressed in pure black tactical gear, armed with assault rifles, not to mention the unknown quirks they might have.

One, presumably the one in charge of the entire operation, pulled out his cell phone and made a call, all while giving orders to the others, speaking Chinese and pointing to different sections of the mall.

Meanwhile, around one of the stalls on the same floor, Gojo and Kaminari were preparing to put their new plan into action. Gojo rolled his shoulders and stretched his arms as he got ready, meanwhile, Kaminari was trying desperately to get his breathing under control.

"Gojo, I swear to god if die, I'm coming back as some accursed ghost and haunting you." mumbled Kaminari to the white-haired boy in front of him. "Relax, Kaminari, or should I say Rajin, everything's going to be alright, just stick to the plan." Gojo replied. "Just stick to it and you shouldn't get hit even once." He continued as he waved away his friend's fears and worries.

In the next second, Gojo ran out into the open, already alerting the criminals, even some civilians looked relieved to see someone about to save them. 'Alright, this should be good enough...' Gojo thought to himself, a Red forming at the tips of his fingers as he pointed it at them.

REVERSAL RE-

In the next moment, gunshots rang throughout the floor. Gojo stood there, arm raised and fingers pointed towards the criminals. Their rifles smoked, empty bullet casings fell to the floor. All Gojo felt was the sharp pain from each bullet. Although nearly all the shots aims were something to be left for desires, three of them successfully hit him.

Gojo fell to the floor, gripping his side and right thigh as a pool of blood began to form below him. 'Shit, this is nowhere near as being shot with blanks.' Gojo thought to himself, briefly remembering his training with his uncle as a few of the criminals ran towards him.

Immediately, four members of the group pushed him down against the ground, they turned him around, pressing his face against the tiles as they put pressure on his leg wound. During the detrainment, Gojo noticed they kept speaking in fluent Chinese, an oddity he realised but continued with his plan of attack. Two of them picked him up by his arms, when suddenly he attacked once again.

He pulled the two in closer than kicked one in their stomach, the person let out a painful grunt, letting go of Gojo and dropped to their knees, in the same moment, he swung his arm backwards, backslapping the second person and using his other hand to grab then, twisting his body as he threw the person into the other.

Surprised by the sudden attack, the third one raised their gun to fire. However, the white-haired boy vanished from her sight. When she turned around too late, a powerful force struck her gut. Her rifle dropped to the ground as she screamed in pain. Gojo's punch lifted her briefly off the ground, giving him an opportunity to follow up the attack by grabbing her head and slamming her into the ground.

All of this happened in only a few seconds. Gojo stood there, bullet wounds and blood dripping down from his legs and staining his white clothing with three people at his feet.

He turned around to face the others when he froze. The rest of these criminals all had their guns pointed at the civilians at their feet. The one stepped forward, he held a young girl by her hair in his left hand and his rifle in the other, pressed against her head. He spoke in a rough Chinese accent as he spoke Japanese to Gojo, albeit far from anything fluent.

"I'm not stupid, little boy. Surrender or we start with the children first." He ordered. The small girl, green hair and wide eyes filled with tears, squirming in his grip. "Shit, shit, shit... Fuck," Gojo swore under his breath as he raised both his arms and kneeled in surrender.

During the tense quiet of Gojo's surrender, one of the hostages on the floor tried reaching out for one of the criminals' weapons, but a criminal shot him almost immediately. This stopped all plans of retaliation in that single shot.

'Fuck... That wasn't supposed to be part of this plan...'

Meanwhile, on one of the higher floors, Iron Stride tossed the unconscious body of one of these criminals to a pile on the fourth floor. He lifted his hand to his ear as police personal all sneaked in past him, snipers being set up near the edges.

Iron Stride spoke as he activated his earpiece, "Burnin, what's your status?" He waited patiently for the response. A few seconds later Burnin's voice came through. "I managed the fourth floor. What's the situation on your floors? Although we've uncovered something bad-"

Before she could continue, Iron Stride interrupted as his voice grew serious. "So, you've also found the explosion packages on your floors. When I did my rush through to this floor I didn't notice them." he heard a firm grunt from Burnin, taking it as a yes.

She then spoke again, "Gojo called me about their plans, a dangerous one, but if they can pull it off, we might not need the snipers, but... With this new knowledge, I don't think it's safe for those two, but they've already committed." On her floor, she held her hand to her ear, police personal slowly gathered the explosives as they made hushed calls for a bomb squad.

Manual stood behind her, a dark expression as he looked at the live feed off the ground floor. He glanced towards Burnin who spoke with her, had to hear ear before he then looked at the few officers around them. 'Crap... These kids are doing something stupid,' he thought to himself.

Burnin then turned to him and motioned for one officer to come. She cleared her throat as she addressed the officer, "Get out of here, give the order to the rest. This is officially a Grade 1 case. The HPSC will take over. This went from a hostage situation to a terrorist attack attempt." The officer nodded and immediately pulled out his walkie-talkie and contacted the other officers on the floor.

"Are you sure this is a terrorist attack?" Manual asked Burnin as she looked at him. "Manual, Ill be honest, this is above our pay grade. Literally and figuratively. The chief just contacted me. They've identified the criminals as part of a Chinese terrorist group." She said with a grim expression. Manuals showed shock before answering back. "Chinese terrorists? You mean that groups that's been in the news that attacked like four countries?"

She nodded in response, "Gojo and Kaminari had a plan to take them down. My opinion, it's actually smart teamwork between the two, but my professional opinion, we need to get this done and fast." Manual agreed as he looked towards his phone at the live feed.

On the device, it showed Gojo being held down by four of the terrorists while the rest all kept their weapons on the civilians. "God, that Gojo boy just got himself captured, we have to go-" he spoke with hushed urgency before he heard screams from the ground floor.

Burnin and Manual both checked his phone again. Gojo stood in the middle with them all around him, Gojo held his hands together as they saw him call out with Kaminari who suddenly appeared from around the corner where they were hiding and approached.

A few minutes ago...

Gojo was being carried by four others to the one who appeared to be in charge. He still held the little girl as he looked at Gojo. Gojo was then slammed into the ground, his arms behind held and pressed into his back. Two of the terrorists held him down, one holding him physically with the other pressing his boot down on Gojo's head.

Around the corner, Kaminari watched with slight fear and worry. He saw how quickly Gojo dealt with the initial three, and was then forced to surrender to protect the girl's life.

He heard the terrorists speaking to each other in another language, now all seem to be on edge, with the main one now speaking in a louder, more demanding tone as he ordered them around.

'Shit... Gojo's captured, he's wounded, can he still perform the plan?' Kaminari was shaking slightly, beads of sweat running down his face. Seeing the situation, he couldn't help but remember the USJ arc.

He slid down the wall, sitting holding his head and knees to his chest, his pole rested beside him. He began hyperventilating, his chest becoming heavy as he felt he was back at the USJ.

"Calm down, it's different, it's not the same," he kept whispering to reassure himself. He wanted to stand up and go out there, handle his part of the plan so Gojo can do his thing. Yet he couldn't move, seeing Gojo being shot, fighting, and then forced to surrender.

His breath hitched in his throat. As he heard them cock their guns, he peeked around the corner and saw the man had the end of the barrel pointed at Gojo.

He remembered what Gojo said when he asked Gojo to help him get stronger. His promise to not be weak. This would be his first test. Suddenly he stood up, breathing normally, he wore an ice cold expression upon his face as he grabbed his pole.

He dragged his pole on the ground as he came around the corner. The group all turned around to see who was responsible for the sound of metal grinding on the floor. Once they saw Kaminari walk around the corner, they all raised their weapons at him.

Kaminari only smiled as he turned his head slighting, cracking his neck as arcs of electricity started appearing around him. He cleared his throat before he pointed his pole towards the group. "I am the Lightning Hero, Raijin. I order you all to surrender. Or else."

The leader of the group laughed, and so did the rest. They all had their rifles locked onto him, Gojo lay on the ground as the two that held him fell to the ground laughing. The civilians had hope in their eyes, civilians Gojo looked at the terrorists mocking laugh at his friend as a smirk appeared on his face.

Right then, the leader ordered them all to fire. They fired twenty rounds at the same time at the boy who stood there challenging. The civilians closed their eyes, not wanting to see such a young hero being riddled with bullet holes.

They all waited for the sound of a body to fall. Yet it never came.

A young woman opened her eyes, only to see the White Haired boy standing perfectly fine, holding his hands together. The terrorists weret moving, and the bullets that were fired seemed frozen in air, having barely left the barrel.

Kaminari was leaning against his pole as he smiled at them, "Whoops, was i distracting you from the real problem? I'm so sorry, how mean of me," he sarcastically commented as he pushed himself of the pole, carrying no in hand as he approached the group.

They all were grunting, some even let out screams as they couldn't understand what was happening. One second they were all moving perfectly fine, and the next, it was as if they simply couldn't, as if something prohibited it, or someone.

Gojo chuckled as he stood there, he turned his head to the civilians, "Dont worry, you'll be able to move soon. Those who can, though, escape so long. I have to hold everyone here because the terrorists are too close."

Kaminairi approached the villains, turning his head as he looked at them. "So, uh... Do I add 'can freeze anyone' to the list of abilities?" he said as he moved over to the side, and suddenly the bullets dropped to the floor.

Kaminiari scratched his head as he walked back to the group of criminals, and touched the barrels, sending out arcs of electricity that froze before it made contact the users.

"I thought the bullet would continue flying off." Kaminari casually said as he went around touching the barrels of the guns. "Some of em are too far away for me to touch." He said, looking at Gojo.

"Well, Kaminari, if I actually froze time, yes, that would happen." Suddenly those furthest away all fell to the floor, convulsing after being electrocuted via the electrical discharges of Kaminari. Kaminari finally came closer to touch the barrels of the rest, after a few minutes, the same thing happened.

This was the plan of Gojo and Kaminari. The reason they couldn't move, was due to Gojo expanding his infinity past himself, taking in more space to apply the rules of infinity. While useful for crowd control, its much more taxing, nearly as bad as it was before he awakened his Six Eyes mutation. So much so drops of blood began to run down from his nose as a migraine began to form.

Gojo would freeze them in place, and all Kaminari had to do was touch the criminals to electrocute them. After a minute all twenty of them were down, the civilians were all thanking them, some even rushing to the exit.

"So uh... Kinda anti-climactic don't yah think" Kaminari said. Gojo looked at him as he walked over the unconscious bodies and picked up the remote device and cell phone the main leader had. "Well, sometimes we cant always be flashy... But you have a point."

A minute later they were alone on the ground floor, Gojo looked at the bodies of the terrorists laying on the ground before he snapped his fingers, "Almost forgot." He kicked the head of one of the terrorists, stirring them yet surpassing Gojo he didn't wake up. 'Oh well.'

He looked at the device, besides the red button on it, it was rather small, yellow in colour and had a small antenna. "This... wait wait wait, this might be a-" Before he could finish his sentence, in the corner of his eye, he saw a black blur rushing to Kaminari, and in the same second Kaminari was sent flying backwards.

Gojo turned around, about to rush to check on Kaminari before he caught the blur in the corner of his eye rush at him. In the next moment Gojo held his hand up, a dagger had pierced fully into the palm of his hand, the tip barely touching his cheek. 'Shit, I forgot one was missing.'

The man before him let go of the blade before he vanished and appeared a few meters away opposite Gojo. He too wore the black tactical gear, only he left his face exposed. The man had a defined jawline and thin black eyebrows.

His overall facial expression is unusually calm. His green eyes were narrow and sharp, scanning over the unconscious bodes of his team before he looked up at Gojo.

His hair was mid length, straight black hair that reached his ears. What drew more attention, and the most defining feature for Gojo was the thin horizontal scar at the corner of his lips. The man pulled out a gun as he began speaking to the wide eyed Gojo.

"Guessing by that look you know me. Then again, I'm pretty famous." The man said calmly, scratching the back of his head with the same hand holding the gun. Gojo stood wide eyed, realising the implication of this.

One of the world's top mercenaries working with a group of Chinese terrorists. He snapped his head to his hand, seeing the remote device gone in his hand before he looked again at the man in front of him who held it in his other hand.

'This man... Is the Japanese rouge Mercenary..." Gojo pulled the dagger out of his hand before he entered a combat stance, 'I had infinity off, damn it. That could have been bad if I didn't activate it.' he thought to himself.

"You must be Gojo Satoru, heard about you, saw your sports festival, very nice fighting kid. Allow me to introduce myself to you then-" The man said before he put the remote device in his pocket and pulled out a large dagger from his thigh pocket.

"The names Toji Fushiguro."
