Beginning of Chapter
----------------------------------------------------
Korihoo's hands shook as he fumbled with the burner phone, ice creeping along the walls of the empty corridor where he hid.
His left arm was drenched in blood as he pulled out a shard of ice from his thigh. He stood there nervously shaking as he dialed then number.
His breath came out in ragged, cold bursts. After a few rings, the line finally clicked open as he put the phone to his ear.
A voice, annoyance and sarcasm drippingin his tone, answered. "Korihoo, my good friend. I assume you're calling to say the heist was a success?"
Korihoo's words spilled out fast, panicked. "Sukuna, I need help. That boy, the one of the Sports Festival, the one that's your son-"
Sukunas voice on the line interrupted with a slow growing anger in his tone. "That thing is no boy of mine. Choose your words carefully, you never know when we might... lose connection now."
Korihoo's eyes widened slightly before he flinched as he heard the sound of glass shattering and hearing two voices argue.
"Fine, fine just help me. Warp me out of here, Hawks is distracting Gojo-" and once again hebwas interrupted, this time by a more smooth and measured tone spoke.
"My, my Korihoo. Is that ice quirk of yours not enough to get away? I suppose not since you're here begging for an escape."
Korihoo's voice lowered to a whisper, slowly limping down a hallway using the walls to keep him upright. "Yes, please All for One. Help me, I've helped your funding for equipment multiple times."
"Hm? Are you suggesting I owe you? The great demon lord owing someone sad as you?"
Korihoo's voice stuttered as he spoke as he apologised. "No, no, no. Not at all, in fact I'm asking for a favour so I owe you." He said.
All for Ones voice hummed as if in thought before he replied. "Hm. I need to think about that. Let's weight the pros and cons of this situation together, shall we?"
Meanwhile, the air in the bank was heavy. The police and Tokoyami had hauled away the men in black. Now Gojo stood on the empty bank floor.
Blood laying across the ice covered floor. Chucks of the ice were scattered with holes in the wall. In his attacks he lost sight of Korihoo.
He was convinced he was still in the building. The police outside had the entire place surrounded, it was just a matter of time before he found him.
He stood, glasses gone, probablylaying somewhere or crushed, eyes closed. He relaxed his body and slowed his breathing trying to calm himself down.
'I don't know if this will work... but if it does, no one will be able to hide from me.' Were the words floating in his mind.
"Kid," Hawks said cautiously. "What the actual fuck was that back there? Then you nearly tore the guy's head off the second you saw him." Hawks said, feathers twitching as he walked over slowly to Gojo, taking one small step at a time.
Gojo's jaw tightened. He spoke back, tone smooth and cold. "Because he's the reason I'm here. He's the reason my mom is dead. I need to know why. What was it that made him want to murder her."
Hawks didn't interrupt, he listened carefully as Hojo spoke. His golden eyes narrowed, but before he could speak again Gojo opened his mouth.
"If I can just break a limb or two, then I'll question him, and depending on the answer he'll go to tartarus." He said as he clenched his fist, feeling stamina being used, not that much but enough that with the amount of focus this requires it might not be good mid fights yet.
"I understand, Gojo, but this isn't what heroes-" Hawks began to say befow he noticed Gojo suddenly snapped his head to the side.
Gojo felt it. An intrusion in space. Matter slowly moving through space. His body moved before his mind caught up.
"Got you," he muttered, starting at the wall a few meters away for a few seconds as a crimson sphere bloomed in his palm.
REVERSAL RED
He fired it without hesitation, blowing apart a section of the ice-crusted wall. The shockwave shook the rest of the walls and ground floor.
Korihoo stumbled out from behind the collapsing debris, coughing blood, barely missing being crushed by the debris.
He spun his head arpund as it dawned on him, trying to reach for the ohone he dropped when suddenly Gojo was already there warping forward, picked him up and threw a fist coated in a blue hue, slamming into his chest and stomach as he began his relentless flurry.
Each strike landed with sickening force until Gojo kicked him sideways into the wall, ribs cracking on impact.
"Don't you dare act like you can run from me." He spat out coldly to the battered and bloody villain om the floor.
Hawks threw his feathers, aiming to immobilise Gojo, before realising it would work, and right on cue, all the feathers he threw immediately stopped just shy of reaching Gojos back.
Gojo kicked up Korihoo as Hawks watched in horror, Gojo threw him against another wall, when suddenly he didnt fall as Gojo stood infront of him.
He screamed out as he suddenly felt a pressure, not only on his chest but on the rest of his body, slowly increasing as he saw Gojo take a step forward.
It was merely the effects of infinity.
Space warped as Korihoo's body was pressed against the concrete, crushed tighter and tighter with every step Gojo took closer.
Korihoo's scream was slightly muffled by the spatial distortion and the cracking of the concrete behind him.
"Why did you kill her?!" Gojo roared, his voice breaking with raw fury.
Hawks' voice cut through the chaos. "Gojo! Stop!" His tone was sharp now, commanding. "Think about it would she want this? If you kill him here, it's manslaughter. You'll be thrown into Tartarus with the same monsters you're trying to fight!"
Gojo froze momentarily.
"You'll be no better than him killing your her if you kill him!" Hawks yelled at him. The weight of Hawks' words cut deeper than he expected.
His chest heaved as Infinity wavered. Slowly, he let it dissipate. Korihoo crumpled unconscious to the floor, bloodied and broken and eyes blank.
Gojo turned away, punching the wall with such force it cracked and splintered, dust raining down. His fist lingered there, trembling.
Hawks sighed and crouched, clicking the suppression cuffs onto Korihoo's wrists. "You're better than this, kid." He let out a shaky sigh. "Don't throw it all away. With that being said, you are going to be sent back to your school."
He spoke, voice now calm. "I understand you weren't thinking but this, I dont see the Hero Commission or Nezu and Aizawa letting this slide. I cannot work with some who would blindly attempt man slaughter Satoru Gojo."
Gojo pulled his fist as he stood there. Back turned to Hawks. Hawks stared at him as he hauled Korihoo over his shoukder, hearing multiple footsteps coming into bank.
The police went around the place. Noting the damages and looking for any that hid or escaped.
Hawks got up and out of the hallway throigh the door that was next to the now broken hole with the ice villain on his shoulder.
Tokoyami was among the police, looking around for Gojo before seeing Hawks walk out of the door. Dark Shadow retreating into the cloak around his shoulders as he noticed Gojo before he walked over to his classmate.
Tokoyami took in a breathe before he walked over to Gojo, who was now sitting with his back against the wall. Hair falling and hiding his face.
Tokoyami placed a hand carefully and slowly on Gojo's shoulder as he began to speak.
"I won't pretend to understand your pain," Tokoyami said, his voice steady but softer than usual. "Or the rage that drives you. But perhaps it's better… not to let him be the vessel for all of it."
Gojo didn't answer, but Tokoyami sat besides him in silence. And in that moment, Tokoyami just realized something rare, he had actually touch Gojo.

Location: Yokohama metropolitan
The air in Kamino Ward was tense, heavy with the stench of expensive liquor and lingering smoke.
Sukuna's fingers crushed the wine bottle in his hand, shards cutting into his palm. Crimson dripped over the floor.
"This is pathetic," Sukuna spat, his eyes blazing. "Korihoo… the bastard. How can one be so weak. If he can lose to Gojo, what use is he? The audacity to even request our warp to help him."
Garaki, ever calm but clearly annoyed, sighed. "I'm not cleaning that up that poor ruuined wine on the floor. Plus, he technically was helpful, certainly wouldn't have made it this far so fast without the money he pulled.
Sukuna's glare cut through the dim light. "I don't care. Weaklings like him are useless."
From the shadows, All For One's voice came, smooth and measured, unnervingly calm. "Enough of the banter. Garaki, do me a favour and send a Nomu. Kill him then have it bring back the body. That quirk of his, ice formation, could be… useful."
"I would. And I will but with it being by Hawks, and plus his record, and us not willing to help. He might actually be a major part for our plan failing." Garaki said, looking at a few test tubes before going over to a computer.
As he typed he let out a sigh. "With how he works, it's not a doubt he'd let the cat our of the bag about us. The most likely scenario is he'd speak to the President I'm exchange for his release."
As the scientist and the demon spoke, Sukuna's gaze lingered on the shattered bottle, then he paused, fingers flexing over the shards as he spoke gaining their attention.
"Wait… there's someone in the Hero Commission who could help us. Someone who could work with us if given… the right incentive."
All For One has his head turned towards him, his breathing filling their air with sounds besides their talking. Garaki raised an eyebrow, skeptical, saying what All for One was about to ask. "Do you think she'll actually cooperate?"
Sukuna's lips curved into a faint, cruel smile. "She will be a great help to us, mostly me, but she should be able to look the other way."
He pulled out his phone, the screen glowing in the darkness where he sat. The phone rang as a feminine voice answered.
"Ryomen, is that truly you?! What-" She spoke before Sukuna interrupted her. "I need your assistance. Yes or no. The answer depends wether you will live-" and this time it was the voice who interrupted Sukuna.
"Yes, I will help." The voice said without hesitation. Garaki looked confused, All for One looked intrigued.
"Alright, Uraume. How would you like to not be quirkless anymore."
