Chapter 224 - Prime War [III]

In the cozy living room, the atmosphere suddenly grew awkward with Itsuki's blunt statement.

"It's unusual for my husband to gather us all together." Itsuki said, narrowing her eyes suspiciously at Ren. "Don't tell me you're planning another orgy, are you?"

At her words, Masha, Alya, and Ririka's cheeks instantly flushed.

Among the five women in the harem, only Itsuki dared to speak so boldly to Ren. After all, she was the only one with genuine feelings for him.

Masha and Alya were under mind control; the sisters' feelings were the result of Ren's manipulation.

Meanwhile, Hayasaka and Ririka were objects of transactions from their respective families to gain Ren's support as the Seventh Campione.

Due to various factors, Nakano Itsuki was the only one who loved him purely, without coercion or supernatural influence. That was why Ren tolerated her attitude toward him.

"Ahem… Itsuki-sensei, do you think all I think about every day is perverted stuff?" Ren cleared his throat awkwardly, then glanced at the other three women.

Masha, Alya, and Ririka looked away, implicitly agreeing with Itsuki.

"Isn't it true?" Itsuki smirked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, I can't deny it." Ren said with a wry smile, not bothering to refute his perverse nature.

"But this time, I'm serious. The reason I called this family meeting is to discuss an important matter. Let's start once Ai arrives."

"It's your fault for not knowing restraint, husband." Itsuki immediately blamed Ren, her gaze accusatory, referring to Hayasaka's current absence.

"Itsuki-sensei, don't get so worked up. It's not good for your pregnancy." Masha, who had been mostly silent, changed the topic to spare Ren from Itsuki's lecture.

"You're right, Masha-san. Not just me, you and your sister Alya-san are pregnant too. Take care of your physical and mental health for your babies." Itsuki said, taking a deep breath to calm her emotions, which had been unstable lately due to hormonal imbalances from her nine-month pregnancy. She gently rubbed her swollen belly.

"I'm curious what Ren-kun's going to talk about." Alya said.

"Just be patient a little longer, Alya." Ren replied, giving her a faint smile, understanding their curiosity.

"Sorry for keeping everyone waiting."

Finally, the awaited Hayasaka arrived.

Her gait was strange, slightly limping and unsteady. It was obvious that she had just been fucked by Ren at the front door.

Hayasaka had just showered, her usually side-ponytailed hair left loose and wet, dripping water onto her shoulders.

Perhaps because she didn't want to keep everyone waiting, Hayasaka had rushed to join them. This was evident from her outfit: a braless tank top that flaunted her curvaceous figure and prominent chest, paired with thin shorts reaching the tops of her thighs, so tight that the outline of her underwear was visible. A faint steam still rose from her skin, showing how hurriedly she'd come.

"Alright, now that Ai's here, let's begin the first Rokuhara Family meeting."

Seeing Hayasaka sit next to Ririka, Ren adopted a rare serious expression.

Sensing the tension in the air, the girls focused on their man.

"Do you all know about The Day of Silence?"

"I know about it. Who hasn't heard of The Day of Silence? It's still a great mystery to this day." Itsuki said. As a teacher, she couldn't possibly be unaware of a global phenomenon still studied by scientists and scholars.

"Is this discussion related to The Day of Silence?" Masha asked softly, tilting her head in confusion, a faint crease forming on her smooth forehead.

"The Day of Silence, huh…" Alya muttered, her fingers tapping her chin. Her blue eyes stared blankly ahead, as if digging through her memories.

"…"

Hayasaka and Ririka, with their extraordinary backgrounds, knew more detailed information about The Day of Silence than the average person. Their expressions shifted slightly, indicating they understood the implications of Ren's question.

"The Day of Silence is when all human activity on Earth comes to a complete halt. Every individual, wherever they are, falls into an inescapable deep sleep. Not fainting, not a coma, but sleep. From infants to the elderly, from heads of state to the homeless, everyone."

"Because of this, governments in every country enforce strict protocols. All industries are shut down. Citizens are urged, even ordered, to stay home. Civilization on that day is truly silent, almost eerily so. No transportation—motorcycles, cars, trains, ships, or planes—is allowed to operate."

"The reason is clear: to prevent unimaginable mass accidents when billions of people worldwide suddenly fall asleep in the middle of their activities. Imagine a plane in flight, a high-speed train, or a tanker in the open sea, with the driver suddenly falling asleep. The horror is indescribable."

Ren explained the definition of The Day of Silence to them, then dropped a bombshell.

"However…" Ren lowered his gaze, looking at each of the five girls one by one, "The Day of Silence, which we've always known as a mysterious natural phenomenon, isn't actually that. It's not a natural phenomenon at all, but a human act."

"Huh?" 5x

Itsuki, Masha, Hayasaka, Alya, and Ririka were stunned by this shocking revelation.

Ignoring their astonishment, Ren continued his explanation.

"More precisely, The Day of Silence is humanity's collective effort to create a camouflage during the Prime War."

"Prime War?"

Itsuki frowned, her eyes filled with confusion.

"That's the first time I've heard that term. What exactly is the Prime War? Husband, don't beat around the bush."

Itsuki's question echoed the desires of all the girls in the room. They needed answers, and they wanted them now.

"Hmm… In short, the Prime War is humanity's resistance against an alien invasion." Ren simplified his explanation of the Prime War.

"Aliens…?" Alya exclaimed in disbelief, her eyes widening. "Ren-kun, you're not joking, right?"

"Ren-kun, aliens really exist?" Masha asked, her tone full of wonder, as if a fairy tale had just come to life.

"Despite many rumors and UFO sightings, there's no concrete evidence of their existence widely acknowledged by the public." Itsuki said, frowning. As a teacher, she always upheld facts and evidence. "If aliens do exist, why doesn't the public know, and why do governments cover it up so tightly?"

Itsuki's question was one shared by billions of people worldwide.

"The Shinomiya Family knows about the existence of aliens." Hayasaka suddenly revealed.

"The Momobami Family also knows aliens exist among society." Ririka added shyly, sharing what she knew, despite her usual quiet demeanor.

"What?! So aliens aren't just fictional?" Alya gasped.

Not only her but also her older sister, Masha, and their homeroom teacher, Itsuki, reacted similarly. This information shook the foundation of their understanding of the world.
