'Nor do I want to alert my sisters and Aunt right now and all the crap that would follow after that. Truly, it's a pity,'
Sighing deeply, Xiao stood up from the wooden chair and walked towards his bed as he thought.
'Really, too many things have happened today. So many things one after another, so much information, new things, and all that. Dammit, I can't take it anymore. Let's sleep right now. I will deal with everything tomorrow,'
Even though Xiao was more or less calm, no matter how calm he might seem on the surface, one thing did not change the fact that he was currently overwhelmed.
After going through so many things one after another today, along with many emotions such as surprise, anger, happiness, sadness, homesickness, annoyance, and hope,
all those things combined had made him overwhelmed by his current situation. So it was better for him to get a refreshing sleep and plan for his future with a calm and refreshed mind.
instead of trying to do everything at once and fix everything, which would only backfire on him, as he might make many fatal and common mistakes without even noticing.
"Ahh, let me just sleep right now."
Letting out a yawn, he lay down on the bed and wrapped himself in the blanket.
Then, before closing his eyes, he thought.
'Even though today was a rough day and was filled with unexpected surprises, I can at least say with certainty that my life from now on, even though it might be filled with suffering, pain, and danger....it will be interesting,'
Xiao let out a slight smile while thinking so. He closed his eyes, and a few moments later, his mind drifted into sleep.
And just as time continued to pass without waiting for anyone, a few hours later,
it was already morning outside. The sun was shining brightly in the sky, its warm light illuminating the world. At the same time, a few rays of sunlight entered through the window.
lighting up and brightening Xiao's room. Feeling that it was already morning and that the sunlight was reflecting on his face, Xiao rubbed his eyes as he slowly let out a yawn.
He sat up on the bed, still wrapped in the blanket. The temperature in the Royal Family's territory and the city was neither warm nor cold. Instead, it was a perfectly cool temperature that anyone would feel comfortable living in.
Half awake, Xiao continued rubbing his eyes. His vision was still slightly foggy and blurry. A moment later, his vision was completely restored, and now fully awake and conscious.
Xiao let out a slight sigh as he muttered.
"So it was not a dream after all."
Even though everything that had happened, from his transmigration until now, was clear in his mind and he remembered it all, a certain part of him still hoped that everything which had happened yesterday had been nothing but a dream.
A dream that he would wake up from once he had finished sleeping. But alas, truth and reality were far more cruel than anything else. Xiao deeply believed that fate was unpredictable as well, and no one knew what would happen next.
Take him for an example. He had been in his own world doing his own thing, and suddenly he found himself waking up in this unknown and unfamiliar world, where everything from Earth was different society, culture, common sense, etc.
So Xiao believed that fate was the most unexpected variable in the world.
'Damn you, fate!'
Cursing this illusory and unpredictable fate in his mind, he sighed as he thought.
'Ah, no need to think too much. If I keep thinking like this, then I might feel homesick again, which is not good if I keep feeling like this every single time. I have to steel and temper my heart and mind like an unmovable mountain so that I can withstand anything. As for the homesickness, it's normal that I would feel like this,'
'But this world is full of opportunities itself, where I simply have a future filled with infinite possibilities. Through cultivation itself, I can simply become stronger as well. And eventually, there will be no one left in the Heaven and Earth who can threaten me or my loved ones. So cultivation itself is the greatest blessing and opportunity for all living beings to challenge and change their own fate,'
Xiao continued to think.
'No matter which world it is, people only respect the powerful, the ones who have strength. And in the brutal and cruel world of cultivation, this is even more true and obvious. After all, why does the whole world and every other major force respect the Cardinal Royal Family so much? Is it because of our wisdom and cunning? No. There have been many such sects throughout history, but not all of them have survived until now.'
'And the reason is strength. Intelligence, wisdom, and cunning without being backed by strength are nothing but a burden. It is a recipe for disaster. This world no, not just this world, but every world that exists has always been like this. The indifference of the universe and the ruthless nature of Heaven. From the dawn of Creation until now, there has only been one unlimited truth and law that exists in the Heaven and Earth, which is Strength.'
He calmly Continued.
'It doesn't matter whether I am in a different world or not. It doesn't matter if I have enemies or not. It doesn't matter if someone is scheming against me or not. As long as I continue to grow stronger, I can crush and annihilate any obstacle that comes my way. I can destroy anyone who dares to stand in my way and block my path.'
Xiao's blood seemed to boil with hope, determination, and courage, 'So let's get stronger!'
He took a few deep breaths to calm himself down. A moment later, Xiao calmed his excited mind as he thought with humor.
'Ahh, really, I should have been a philosopher and a motivational speaker. Dammit, Xiao, you really know how to think in such a philosophical and motivational way. Crap, I almost got motivated just thinking about it.'
