Chapter 33 - Chapter 33 A Divine Cook

'Also, Aunt Yao Ning's cooking. Damn, I am really getting hungry just by thinking about it! It is simply the best thing in the world! What treasure or opportunity? Just eat her cooked food and you will understand what it means to be divine food. Dammit, food is simply the best. She is actually a Divine Cook disguising herself as a human!'

Even though Xiao did not eat those things himself, from the memories of the Xiao of this world, he had seen them. He could almost feel the taste of his aunt's divinely cooked food, and just from that memory alone, Xiao felt like he was on cloud nine.

Truly, he had never tasted something so delicious, flavorful, and made with such perfectly balanced spices in his entire life. If anything could be called heavenly food because of its divine taste, then his aunt's cooking might be it.

Thinking about it, he concluded.

'Anyway, aside from that, because I have been eating the best possible and most nutritious spiritual food available, the nutrition and benefits that I gained from those things did not manifest properly during the time when I was ill. But now that I am healthy and fine, along with that vile illness simply being gone, it's no wonder that the accumulated benefits of that spiritual food are finally showing up.'

Xiao sighed in relief.

'Thank the gods that goddamn illness is gone with my transmigration. Otherwise, I really don't know how to deal with that shit. Really, in the end, all is well, and I am fine.'

While thinking about all those things in his mind, he began to walk towards the washroom to freshen up. Anyway, he was planning to take a shower and brush his teeth.

'After becoming a cultivator, I won't have to do all those mundane things. It's really great being a cultivator. Really, the benefits of being a cultivator are simply too many to count compared to its disadvantages.'

Xiao was really pleased. By becoming a cultivator, he wouldn't have to go through all the hassle of maintaining his daily hygiene. That would be an unnecessary pain in the ass to deal with.

As cultivators would often spend months or even years in seclusion, and the duration was even longer in the higher realms,

where a cultivator would spend hundreds or even thousands of years cultivating, comprehending Laws and Daos while preparing to break through to higher realms.

So if they had to maintain their hygiene in such critical moments, then it would have been a terrible thing. But thankfully, that was not the case. Instead, after a mortal becomes a cultivator, their body no longer produces waste or accumulates filth. Nor do they need to take a shower or eat.

As their body, soul, and mind are constantly nourished by spiritual energy, or Qi, the need to eat becomes completely optional, while their skin remains as smooth and soft as a baby's.

Even dust particles in the air cannot reach their skin, as they are constantly removed by the spiritual energy flowing throughout their body.

So even if they don't take a shower, their skin always remains in perfect condition. Because of this, cultivators only take a shower or bath to relax and make their minds feel refreshed by doing mundane things.

'Really, the advantages and benefits of being a cultivator are simply uncountable. Truly, cultivators are Heaven defying. Dammit, I really can't wait. I want to become a cultivator too. After becoming a cultivator, I won't have to pay attention to or waste my time maintaining my daily hygiene.'

Xiao thought as he truly yearned to become a cultivator.

While thinking so, he reached the washroom, which was in a remote corner of the room, and entered it.

Twenty minutes later, Xiao walked out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel wrapped around his body. His upper body was completely exposed, with six pack abs clearly visible.

Even though he was a mortal, his body structure and physique were simply like that of a Greek god. After brushing his teeth, taking a shower, and taking care of his personal hygiene,

Xiao looked at the mirror in front of him as he thought.

'Damn, I really look like a Greek god. Like an immortal descending into the mortal world to grace those ignorant mortals with my presence. Uh, damn, since when did I become such a narcissist? Ahh, dammit, I am not a narcissist! Yes, definitely not!'

He also noticed something else.

'Wait, isn't my body a bit too fit with these abs? The previous Xiao had never even lifted a single weight or trained for a single day in his entire life. So how could his body be this fit with such abs and a Greek god like physique?'

Xiao felt that this didn't make much sense, as this shouldn't have been the case. The body he had now was simply the best of the best, and only the most well trained warriors would have such a physique.

But then, suddenly, he remembered something.

'Oh! I almost forgot. This might be the result of the spiritual food. The reason my body is like this is because of the nutrition I have gained from eating that spiritual food and also its wondrous and magical effects.'

Xiao felt that this explanation made much more sense, as he believed that might be the truth. Sighing in amazement at his ridiculous luck for possessing such a background, he changed his clothes.

He was now wearing a completely pitch black robe. Looking at himself in the mirror, Xiao nodded in satisfaction.

'Now this looks much better and cooler.'

Compared to his previous self yesterday, when he had just transmigrated into this world, the current him looked much more handsome and gorgeous in his new pitch black robe, along with his silver-white hair and his golden gem like eyes.

Xiao now truly looked like the perfect immortal protagonist of a cultivation world.

'Maybe I will have plot armor of my own as well.'
