Background

A Mind That Once Created, Now Only Endures

Hackle was once a brilliant roboticist, a pioneer in cybernetic engineering and AI integration. He had spent his life building machines, teaching them to think, to move, to serve humanity. His work was his pride, but it was never his purpose. That role belonged to his wife and son—the only reasons he ever looked up from his blueprints and codes.

Then, she was gone.

It was sudden. An accident. A failure. Whether it was his fault or simply cruel fate, the outcome was the same: his wife, the only person who ever truly understood him, was dead.

Her absence hollowed him out. He no longer saw value in anything—not his research, not his legacy, not even his son, who desperately begged him to keep going. But Hackle had already stopped moving forward.

His son pleaded with him to join the Digital World Project, claiming it would help refine the technology faster, allow the system to evolve beyond its limitations. Hackle didn't care. He didn't care about innovation, about the world, about progress.

But he did care about getting his son to stop asking.

So, with an exhausted sigh, he signed up—not because he wanted to, but because he had nothing left to lose.

Appearance & Style

Hackle—now known as Minister—wears the weight of his existence both physically and symbolically.

Black Cloak & Dark Cape – Thick, heavy, and imposing. His form is almost entirely obscured, leaving only the glint of golden accents visible beneath the layers. He moves slowly, but not from weakness—his armor is simply that heavy.

Golden-Adorned Attire – Beneath the cloak, his clothing is lavish, decorated with intricate golden filigree and inlaid with expensive gems. Each piece is a contradiction—a reminder of the wealth and power he once commanded, now reduced to nothing more than ornamental weight.

Crown & Horns (Pure Gold with Embedded Gems) – A symbol of something lost—power, maybe, or a reminder of a time when he still ruled over his own life. The horns curve upward, like a monument to his former greatness, but they serve no purpose now beyond decoration.

Heavy Armor Beneath the Cloak – The real reason for his slow movements. His body is encased in thick, unyielding armor, making him nearly indestructible. It is not elegant, not meant for battle in the way a warrior's armor would be—it is a burden, a prison of his own making.

Every step he takes is deliberate. Every movement is slow, yet unwavering.

He is a monument to himself.

Personality & Early Development

The Monument That Still Stands

Hackle—now Minister—is a man who feels nothing but weight.

Cold & Detached – He does not fear, love, or mourn—or at least, that's what he tells himself. In truth, he is still in grief, frozen in time, unable to move beyond the loss of his wife.

Highly Intelligent – His robotic expertise and technological mastery are far beyond what most can comprehend. He understands the digital world's mechanics better than nearly anyone.

Unshaken & Unyielding – He does not panic, does not falter. He is slow to act, but once he commits, he follows through with absolute certainty.

Indifferent to Morality – His Threat Level (TrL) of 6 is not because he enjoys cruelty or destruction, but because he simply doesn't care. He will do what is required, regardless of the consequences.

Despite everything, he is not truly lost. There is a part of him, buried deep beneath the armor and the weight of grief, that remembers what it was like to care. But whether that part of him can be revived, or if it will be lost forever, is uncertain.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Strengths:

✔ Unstoppable Endurance – 650 HP and 15 AP make him nearly impossible to take down. He outlasts his opponents.

✔ Technological Mastery – With a TcL of 5, his knowledge of robotics and digital systems makes him a force to be reckoned with.

✔ Sheer Strength – 45 SP means that even if he moves slowly, when he strikes, he strikes with devastating power.

✔ Vast Energy Reserves – 475 EnP allows him to power tech-based abilities for extended periods without depletion.

Weaknesses:

✖ Slow & Heavy – His armor restricts his movement, making him an easy target for agile opponents.

✖ Detached from Humanity – His TrL of 6 means he has little concern for ethics, making it difficult to form alliances.

✖ Buried in Grief – He is not truly living, merely existing. This makes him vulnerable to psychological manipulation.
