Chapter 442 - Chapter 442: Straw Hat Crew, Their Respective Opponents and Battles

Mr. 3's words caused Cracker to choke on his own spit. According to Mr. 3, the biscuit soldier was far too ugly, whereas the wax creation was truly magnificent. This was especially true because once Miss Goldenweek painted the wax figure, it looked almost identical to the real Kaido. At a single glance, anyone would assume Cracker had simply copied him.

"Besides, my wax figures are much stronger," Mr. 3 said with complete confidence.

The wax Kaido immediately launched an attack known as Thunder Bagua, which smashed through all of the nearby biscuit soldiers. When the long swords of the remaining biscuit soldiers struck the wax man, the blades simply shattered upon impact. Mr. 3's wax was naturally durable, and with Miss Goldenweek's color-coded buffs, it became even tougher. For those biscuit soldiers to break through the defense of such a wax creation was nothing more than a pipe dream.

"You bastard! You are allowed to copy, but you are not allowed to surpass me! I will kill you, you plagiarist!" Cracker roared. He clapped his hands frantically, creating an even larger army of biscuit soldiers.

However, Mr. 3 was not falling behind. He continued to produce wax figures one after another. Although he could not match Cracker's sheer volume, the power of his creations was significantly higher. A single wax figure was easily worth three of Cracker's soldiers, and Mr. 3 was steadily putting pressure on the biscuit man.

"Huh? Why isn't this wax figure painted? Miss Goldenweek, you..." Mr. 3 paused, confused, only to realize that Miss Goldenweek had disappeared from his side.

Looking around, he saw that she had already run to the other side of the battlefield. He sighed in frustration. The Straw Hat crew had fewer members, and now Miss Goldenweek was too busy with her own battle to focus on painting his wax figurines.

At that moment, Miss Goldenweek was holding her palette in one hand, while the other hand held a crayon and a biscuit, which she nibbled on calmly as if she were not in the middle of a war. Standing across from her was a middle-aged woman wearing a white hat and a scarf, possessing exceptionally long legs.

"Charlotte Smoothie, one of the three Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates. You are a Paramecia user with the Squeeze-Squeeze Fruit. I suppose I have to be your opponent," Miss Goldenweek said. It was rare for her to speak so much to an enemy.

Smoothie slowly pulled the large sword from her back and took a cautious defensive stance. She had been looking for a different opponent when she was suddenly blocked by this small girl. Even though the psychological painter was only as tall as Smoothie's calf, the Sweet Commander did not dare to underestimate her. She knew that Miss Goldenweek and the lion king, Richie, had once worked together to successfully hold off a Marine Admiral candidate at the Sabaody Archipelago. That story had spread across the sea, and Smoothie was well aware of the danger.

However, the version of the story Smoothie heard had been greatly exaggerated. Miss Goldenweek and Richie had not actually defeated the Admiral candidate, but had only managed to delay him, largely because the Marine had been holding back. At the time, they did not possess the strength to win a true fight. Smoothie did not know this, however, so she remained extremely careful, even without Richie by her side.

In truth, Miss Goldenweek felt a bit helpless. She was ranked in the top 5 or 6 of the Straw Hat crew's combat power, and since the other top fighters like Zoro and Law were busy with their own enemies, she had to handle this herself. As for Sanji, even if he didn't have an opponent, he would never fight her because he refused to kick women.

Crack! A black pattern was drawn instantly in front of her. Crack! Another yellow pattern appeared. Miss Goldenweek's painting speed increased rapidly. Before long, Smoothie was surrounded by colorful paint patterns. Even with her long legs, she found it difficult to step out of the circle. Miss Goldenweek continued to munch on her biscuit silently, watching to see how Smoothie would react.

Smoothie pierced the ground with her sword, driving the blade deep into the seawater. She activated her Squeeze-Squeeze Fruit and successfully extracted liquid from the ocean. With a powerful swing, she unleashed a wave of water that transformed into a slash, heading straight for Miss Goldenweek.

"Is it really that easy?" Miss Goldenweek sighed. She did not like this exhausting style of battle, but there was no choice. If she didn't handle this enemy herself, other members of her crew might be killed.

Miss Goldenweek dodged the slash with Soru and rushed to the top of Smoothie's head using Geppo. She sent two Tempest Kick slashes downward. Smoothie did not dodge, choosing to block the attacks with her large sword.

"Miss Goldenweek, if this is all the level you have, then you are finished... huh?" Before Smoothie could finish her sentence, Miss Goldenweek sent two more slashes. Originally, Smoothie hadn't cared, but she suddenly noticed the slashes were infused with paint. She leaned back in fright and successfully avoided the attack.

With paint patterns covering the ground, Smoothie did not dare to move her feet carelessly. Her actions were now greatly restricted, and she found herself being pushed back. Thinking quickly, she stabbed her sword into the sea once more to extract liquid, then used the water to wash away the paint patterns, finally allowing her feet to move freely. Miss Goldenweek remained in the air, silently eating another piece of biscuit while planning her next move.

Elsewhere, her companions had also found their opponents. Usopp and Van Augur were locked in an aerial standoff, with the outcome still undecided. Zango found his fated opponent, the "Devil Sheriff" Lafitte. Nami faced off against the "Crescent Moon Hunter" Catarina Devon. Richie, now transformed into a giant lion, confronted the massive battleship, San Juan Wolf. Even though Richie was 50 meters tall, he looked tiny compared to the massive pirate, and it seemed he had no chance of winning. Franky fought the villainous king, Avalo Pizarro. Brook played against Charlotte Oven, the Minister of Bakery. Tashigi faced the third daughter, Charlotte Armand. Robin battled Perospero, Chopper faced Doc Q, and Jean Bart took on the "Big Wine" Vasco Shot.

Kaku, Shachi, and Penguin also engaged their own enemies, and Judge, Reiju, Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji joined the battle one after another. Chaos broke out across the battlefield. Fortunately, many of the enemy grunts had been knocked unconscious by Conqueror's Haki earlier, or the Straw Hats would have been in a much worse position.

Even with fewer fighters, the Big Mom Pirates and the Blackbeard Pirates still had a massive number of men, and they began to surround the Straw Hat crew. They were ready to attack at any moment. However, the Straw Hat crew was no stranger to fighting against overwhelming numbers. They felt no fear, only excitement. They seemed to have been infected by Luffy's own fighting madness, and they eagerly embraced the challenge.

As the battle erupted, all parties watched from afar. Akainu was dining with Kizaru, Fujitora, and a group of Vice Admirals at a nearby Marine base. After receiving news of the war, he immediately ordered the sailors to prepare for deployment. Every update coming from the surveillance monitors made it clear that the war had just begun.

Akainu and the others could not help but marvel at the courage of the Straw Hats, who had dared to start a fight against two Yonko crews at once. They refused to show any sign of cowardice. The war had just started, but it was already incredibly intense.

"Hahaha! Let them fight! As long as both sides end up destroying each other, we will win!"
