The next "day" came quietly.
Too quietly.
There was no sunrise.
No sunset.
No shift in the sky at all.
The pale light above the forest remained exactly the same—dim, distant, and unmoving. As if time itself had stopped inside the dungeon.
Jun was the first to notice.
"…It's still daytime," he muttered, eyes fixed on the sky.
Mia slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Huh…? Didn't you take night watch?"
"I did," Jun replied. "For hours."
Arya stood near the edge of the branch platform, arms crossed, scanning the forest below. His expression was calm—but his eyes were sharp.
"There was no night," he said. "Only silence."
Kai pushed himself up slowly, his body still aching from the previous battle. He looked around, frowning.
"So the dungeon doesn't even bother pretending anymore," he said quietly. "No night. No morning. Just… endless day."
Mia shivered. "That's creepy…"
They had taken turns on guard, just as planned.
