Mohammed and the siblings went to look for a carriage to take them to the capital. They went to the carriage stop and found one. Mohammed asked the carriage owner, who was an old man:
"Are you going to the capital?"
The old man replied: "Yes, I am going there. And you, are you also going?"
Mohammed answered: "Yes, we are going."
The old man said: "Alright, I am going as well. I came to unload my cargo and now I am heading back to the capital. But there is a problem."
Mohammed asked: "And what is it?"
The old man replied: "I need a knight or a fighter to protect us from bandits or monsters."
Mohammed said: "Don't worry, I will protect you. Even though I may look young to you, I can protect you from monsters and bandits."
The old man asked: "Really? You can do that? It's very dangerous, and you're still young."
Mohammed answered: "Don't worry, I am well-trained. Let's just go."
The old man said: "Alright, let's go." Mohammed and the siblings got on the carriage, and they headed toward the capital. While the old man was driving, he said to Mohammed: "This is a place where many monsters are active, so be careful."
As the old man was speaking, their path was blocked by many goblins. They were ready to rob and kidnap. They were famous for their wickedness and for kidnapping women. The old man, Vern, and Isabel were frightened because there were many goblins, and they were very dangerous, possessing some intelligence.
Mohammed said: "Do not be afraid, they are just small monsters. I will take care of them and return." The old man was surprised by Mohammed's confidence. Vern said to his sister: "Will he really deal with them? I wasn't sure about the hotel incident, but now we will know whether his words are true or false."
Mohammed got off the carriage and drew his sword. The goblins quickly approached and started throwing arrows and stones at him. Mohammed, as usual, was fast and blocked all their attacks, then rushed at them and killed the goblins in the front. A goblin tried to ambush him from behind with a quick strike, but Mohammed noticed and dodged the attack, then counterattacked and killed them. Mohammed was so fast that the battle looked like training rather than a real fight. With one strike, he killed a goblin.
Mohammed defeated all the goblins and returned to the carriage. The old man, Vern, and Isabel were very surprised by his strength. Vern said to his sister: "It seems his words about the hotel were true."
Isabel replied: "How can someone of rank E possess such power?"
The old man said: "It seems your friend is very strong. Which school is he from?"
Isabel replied: "No, he hasn't enrolled in any school yet."
The old man said: "He has all this strength and hasn't entered school yet! What an interesting boy."
Mohammed returned and said: "So, what do you think? Did you believe me now, old man?"
The old man replied: "Yes, I confirmed it. But I want to ask you something."
Mohammed said: "Go ahead."
The old man asked: "Despite your great strength, why don't you use a magical aura to kill monsters? You rely only on the sharpness of your sword. Your attack is perfect, but one day will come when you will need an aura. You must learn it to become stronger."
Mohammed asked: "What is a magical aura? And how do you know about this? You are just a carriage driver."
The old man replied: "I don't know anything about it, but I've seen fighters who usually fight using a magical aura."
Mohammed said: "Thank you, old man, for your advice."
The old man replied: "No, you deserve it. Despite your strength, you are humble. If only all young men were like you."
Mohammed said: "Thank you for your kind words."
The three continued their journey until they reached the capital. When Mohammed saw it, he said: "It's a big and wonderful city! Even the buildings and the clothing, everything is different."
Mohammed asked Isabel: "What should we do now? I don't know anything here. You must be my guide."
Isabel replied: "Don't worry, leave everything to me. Now we must find a place to stay, but how much money do we have?"
Mohammed answered: "After food and the hotel, I spent two gold coins. And the old man said we are even—he transported us, and I protected him—so he didn't take anything from me. That means eight gold coins remain."
Isabel replied: "Alright, that is enough until entering the school, since the opening is not far."
Mohammed said: "Alright, let's look for a hotel."
Then Mohammed said: "This disguise really hides your beauty. That's good, I don't want to attract more attention from nobles or perverted young men."
Isabel replied: "Do you really consider me that beautiful?"
Mohammed answered: "Yes, absolutely."
Vern's head turned red like a potato. Mohammed laughed at him.
Vern said: "Damn! Why are you mocking me?"
Isabel replied: "Don't be sad, he is only joking." Then she laughed.
