"Beep Beep, Beep Beep, Beep Beep." - Alarm
Today is the morning that we leave to go to Korea. I am so excited!! I am so happy that I get to leave America; it's not that I don't like it; it was just the people.
I go ready, hop in the car, and go on our way to the airport. The airport isn't that far from us, just two hours away. I researched how long the flight will be and let's say it is a long flight. Once we got to the airport, we checked in and waited for the plane and the pilot to arrive. When we boarded the plane, we were met with comfort. The plane ride over was really long but we endured it. Once we got to Korea, our butts were hurting, but we didn't let that stop us.
We took a cab to Halmeoni's house and rang the gatebell. Halmeoni came out to greet us.
"Jenni, Lara, it's nice to see you made it safely."-Halmeoni
"It's nice to see you again as well, Halmeoni."-Jenni
" we won't be staying for long though, as we told you that day before." -Mom
"Yes, about Jenni's scholar ship to SKOISAC. I'm so proud of you, Jenni. Come, let's go inside. I made your favorite dishes and side dishes." -Halmeoni
We went in and we had my favorite side dishes. We had a lot of kimchi as well, my favourite. I hadn't had grandma's cooking in a while so it was very nice.
Tomorrow is a busy day; we have a lot to do. First, we have to get used to the train system. then we have to get my schedule sorted out. then we have to get the uniforms. Last, we have to get the dorms sorted out. I don't even think we can do that in just one day. Let's just hope the day goes well.
