Unaware of the two agents outside in their truck plotting against him, Kyoji was busy in his room experimenting.
He began by focusing on his body, sensing the three types of energy still active inside him, just like before. He reached out to them, and as expected, the Faith and Chaos energies responded instantly.
The Faith energy flowed smoothly, filling his body with a warm, steady force. As for the Chaos energy, it was just like its name—violent. It surged through his blood, making it feel like it was boiling. The third mysterious energy, however, remained stubbornly still. No matter how hard he tried, it refused to move.
It was as though he was calling out to someone deaf, desperately needing another form of communication but unable to figure out how. Frustrated, Kyoji decided to set that energy aside for now and focus on the Chaos energy.
