Lynch leaned back in his chair, and the Spiritual Field around him gradually dissipated.
Although it looked like he had the upper hand during the negotiation, deep down, he felt tremendous mental pressure.
After all, reaching this stage in the development of the Witch Domain had taken great effort. Mentally preparing for a do-or-die situation was one thing, but actually falling back to his previous days of fleeing would definitely be unpleasant.
Fortunately, the negotiation was reasonably successful, so such a situation is unlikely to happen.
"Are they probing my strengths and weaknesses?"
Lynch touched his chin, looking somewhat puzzled.
According to the two Wizards from the Tower of Order, their visit today wasn't to hold him accountable but merely to understand his current situation and future ambitions.
