The oversized cat just stood there looking at Shad Darc looking at him with dumbfounded eyes as if struggling to understand what the little thing was saying.
"Well it looks like we can't communicate after all but since you didn't attack me with the intent to kill I am willing to let what you did slide at least that way it is a little bit even don't you think."
'It is probably wondering if you have gone mad out of fear of it' said meditating advisor identity half-heartedly but Shad Darc didn't respond because there was no need to.
The giant cat-like creature just keeps staring at Shad Darc wondering what rubbish the little thing is saying. Just as he was looking at the little thing, suddenly it did something that pissed it off.
After the short speech and noticing that the oversized cat had no intentions of fighting or harming him, he then waved at the oversized cat without looking at it while he passed right by it.
The moment moved past the oversized cat he suddenly felt as if something was weighing down on him not physically but mentally and when looking back he saw the oversized cat staring down out with so much killing intent in fact it was because it was so much that Shad Darc was able to feel it.
And then the Shad Darc had to go and provoked it more by smiling which only added to its anger making it feel as if the little thing was looking down on it and not giving it the praise and respect due to it.
Of course Shad Darc was oblivious of what the oversized cat was thinking.
"Why the sudden change in mood?" said Shad Darc in an apprehensive manner.
'Looks like you have pissed it off' said one of his identities.
Before Shad Darc could think of anything else he was suddenly sent flying by the oversized cat who slapped him out of the blue.
Shad Darc was sent tumbling down the tall grasses for a dozen meters or so before he came to an abrupt stop.
"Aargh, damn that oversized house cat" he said while groaning in pain.
The giant cat creature didn't bother to confirm if the little thing was dead, simply ignoring the fact that the disrespectful little thing might have survived .
Well it is not like he expected the annoying little thing to be alive after all that little thing was too weak and fragile to survive its attack, and since it was not interested in the little thing meat it decided to abandon it turning away from the direction in which it has sent Shad Darc flying it then turn to move at the direction at which Shad Darc was originally heading to while looking strangely pleased with itself.
Shad Darc was still on the ground groaning in pain as his right hand had temporarily become unusable at the moment.
"Damn that bastard does not think it can just walk away from me after nearly killing me for no good reason" he said with a hint of annoyance but he decided to let the bastard go for now as it has no interest in him anymore.
Struggling with the pain of a damaged hand he managed to get on his feet tearing out his dirty and worn shirt he used it to wrap his right hand which was now broken and dislocated. In fact he can't really feel his right hand at the moment.
After all it was the hand that saved him from a much bigger injuring as he was able to use it as shield right before the oversized cat paw connected, and thanks to the fact that he has gotten better at strengthening his body with energy flow if not the situation would have been far much worse considering that the oversized cat packed more punch than the bear-like creature considering their individual differences.
"Seems like even the bearlike creature horns have been destroyed" letting out a stressed sigh he added "at least I still have one horn left and the giant snake fangs at least this should serve me for the meantime."
As the giant cat creature was walking to its destination it then noticed a little tiny discomfort beneath its front paw that it used to attack the disrespectful little thing normally it wasn't supposed to have noticed such an almost non-existent cut but because of its high sensitivity it did notice which pissed it off the more.
Looking at the right front paws it noticed a small tiny cut there and the moment it did it clicked on what might have happened as it began to recall what happened.
First it remember that when it first saw the little thing it was holding a weapon one on his right hand the other at his left the one at it right was longer than the one at it left hand secondly it remember that even though the little had been under its fear paralysis attack it still did not drop it weapons but rather the disrespectful little thing was still firmly holding onto them.
Lastly, when he struck the little thing catching it off guard, that annoying little thing actually managed to somehow intercept the attack with its right hand which was holding the weapon with the longer reach.
The moment the giant cat creature figured this it came to a conclusion that the little thing might still be alive thinking that it turned around looking at the direction it has sent the little thing flying only to see it standing while it tends to it wounds which pissed it off even further it let out a chilling loud roar signaling it intent to truly kill the little thing.
Hearing the chilling roar which made his body tremble a little, Shad Darc looked toward the direction of the oversized cat who was approaching him.
Feeling disgruntled Shad Darc said in a low tune "Damn thing still not done yet"
With that he took a low fighting stance with the bearlike creature horn held on his left bracing himself for impact.
In the next moments the oversized cat was already upon him with its big paws ready to deliver a devastating blow much more powerful than before but Shad Darc remained calm as if accepting what was to befall him.
Just as the large paw was about to connect with Shad Darc in attempts to end him for good at the last moment Shad Darc dove right beneath it while crudely channeling his energy flow into the horn he forcibly thrust it with all his might into the underbelly of the creature though there was resistance it still manage to pierce through even though it didn't puncture the oversized cat underbelly it was still enough to make it bleed and in turn feel pain.
Roaring in pain and anger the giant cat re-positions itself such that the annoying little was no longer beneath it afterwards it distances itself from Shad Darc while looking at him with bloodshot eyes wondering what had happened and how it happened.
Meanwhile Shad Darc was there feeling a bit surprise on the fact that the resistance he had felt while trying to pierce the oversized cat underbelly was that of energy flow which came as bit of surprise to him after-all the creatures he had fought before can't control energy flow, at least not in a way that he know off.
'Why are you getting distracted in the middle of a fight? 'asked the pondering fighter.
'Survive now and think later' added the meditating advisor identity.
After mental clearance Shad Darc then focused his all in the fight against the oversized cat as the giant cat lounged at him once more but this time around it attacked with his large mouth threatening to bite Shad Darc entire head off.
But Shad Darc was already prepared as he immediately jump to his left side but the creature didn't give Shad Darc the amounted time of properly balancing himself as it attack once more but Shad Darc somehow manage to be a step ahead of the oversized cat as he manages to narrowly dodge once again.
Seeing this the giant cat decided to change its approach as it discovered that charging in mindlessly at the little thing was a waste of time it then decided to proceed with more caution as it noticed that its own size was being used against it.
The battle with the oversized cat continue for a while as they but attacked and acted with caution trying not to make to big of a mistake sometimes Shad Darc manages to leave a small almost non-existent cut on the oversized while other times the giant cat manages to leave a small but painful cut on Shad Darc body while he narrowly tried to dodge the claw completely.
Huffing and puffing heavily Shad Darc manages to a create a little distance between himself and the oversized cat while a little away from the oversized cat he began to think of a way to end this fight once and for all as prolonging it will only lead to his imminent downfall considering the fact that his right hand is practically out at the moment and his body is all but covered with tiny but painful cuts from the creature claws.
The giant cat was practically thinking the same as it was slowly running out of steam and the injury dealt to it was somehow becoming more severe as it was beginning to bleed out. This was not a good thing for it at all as it never expected that the little thing would be this strong.
Looking at Shad Darc with chilling malice and resolve to end this once and for all it instantly dashed at Shad Darc with all the might and strength it could muster aiming to cleave Shad Darc in two with its sharp claws.
