Looking at the oversized creature ahead of him Shad Darc couldn't help it but grin a little.
What he was looking at was nothing more but an oversized house cat, it looks and feels like a house cat in fact everything about feels like cat to him except for it eyes which looks more like that of a reptiles own but instead it pupils were slitted vertically also it eye was a mixture of pure white for it pupils and a dark green.
Its fur was a combination of gray, and white and its size was roughly like that of an adult lion.
Shad Darc didn't exactly know where he is getting confidence of the capability to beat a cat the size of an adult male lion but one thing, he was sure of was that he wasn't going to lose.
"But then this is an oversized cat which it will be much tougher than the previous battle"
'Well at the same it will be much easier than the previous battle' said the pondering fighter identity
'After all you have gotten much stronger than you had when first arrived in this world,' said the meditating advisor like identity.
'But then if it has some of the characteristics and attribute of real house then this will more be troublesome than the previous ones' said the lonely king like identity
But as Shad Darc was slowly approaching the oversized cat, the oversized cat just stood at its spot quietly without any attempt to fight or run away but instead it seams to look at Shad Darc with a slight hint surprise and a sense of bafflement.
Of course it is not like Shad Darc know the exact thing the oversized cat is thinking but for some reason he felt as the oversized cat was seriously looking down at him which kind of hurt his little pride.
Shad Darc then stopped as the distance between him and the oversized cat is about thirty to forty meters but to his surprise the cat then begins to approach him which was a little bit unexpected considering the oversized cat wasn't making any move against him before .
"Have you suddenly find me interesting already" immediately after those words the lonely king like identity spoke.
'I think you are getting this the wrong way'
'What do you mean the wrong way' asked Shad Darc
'Hmm, the thing is the creature genuinely doesn't see you as a threat but more like an amusing little thing' said the meditating advisor like identity
'Well it is not the creature fault after all because nobody actually takes you seriously talk more or less of seeing you as a genuine threat.' said the pondering fighter like identity
"Now that I think about it that is how it has been even back on Earth everybody just don't really see me as a threat but more like an average weakling, urgh but I don't really blame them if only they know me that w"
Why he was still there speaking to himself the oversized cat patted him on his head which completely caught Shad Darc off guard.
Shad Darc looked up only to see the oversized cat paws on his head the moment he saw this it as his world on the oversized cat completely changed because what he thought was only at the size of a fully grown male lion turns out to be a lie because what he was looking at was far bigger than an adult male lion in fact it seems to be slightly bigger than a male African elephant.
Though he might not have personally seen an elephant in his entire life because they are already an extinct creatures on Earth but he still have seen a video and a picture of them.
The moment he came to this realization and truth his heart immediately sank in fear at the same time brought his head low while he begin to sweat instantly mostly staining his head to look up once more he saw the oversized cat like creature smiling at least it did what looks like smiling which terrified Shad Darc the most.
Quickly he separated himself from giant cat like while he began to breathe hoarsely as if he just finished running a marathon race.
"Calm down Shad Darc no need to panic here just calm down" he said trying to calm his wildly beaten heart.
But no matter what he did or how he tried to calm himself down it just seems not to be working in fact it was becoming a little to much even for him.
Because at this point it was simply to overwhelmingly which was bad very bad to be precise.
But there was nothing he could do against such fear.
While he was there sweating profusely the giant cat like creature was just looking at him with a strange sense of amusement written in it reptilian eyes.
Though Shad Darc was is perceived outwardly to be very scared it is not entirely the truth of course he was scared but not to this extent of his body trembling and sweating excessively all round.
The thing is that Shad was very much aware of the exact moment the oversized cat snicked and patted him on his head but the issues is that firstly he doesn't know why couldn't move at that point in time and secondly he doesn't know why he suddenly became so scared than how usual.
And now he can't seem to control his body from shaking and cowering in fear the fact he was able to give a little distance away from the oversized cat took too much of his willpower to pull it.
'Now that I think about it there is similar situation like this in the incident between me and the giant anaconda but unlike them I wasn't this overwhelmingly terrified' he thought to himself.
'Of course ou weren't but the only similarities in this case is that you don't to see there true size at first glance only after life and death battle did you come to realize there true size' said the pondering fighter like identity.
'But this time it is little bit different because you were able to see this creature true size without risking your life' said the meditating advisor like identity.
'So do you think there is reason why it is different this time around' he asked his other identity.
'Nope, I don't think so, the only reason why you able to see this creature true size a bit faster is probably because you grown much stronger than before and also maybe your now able to see the truth of this strange world might also be the reason just like with the trees earlier on.' said plainly by the lonely king like identity 'And also don't ask me how I know because I don't' he added.
With does last word Shad darc couldn't help it but let out a mental sigh.
'Yeah, you are right it is just like when I was able to see the true size of the trees and plants in this forest which prompt me to remember the true size of the bear-like creature and the giant anaconda.'
'Hmm, so many things is wrong or maybe so many unexplained are going on and we are yet to find out' said the meditating advisor like identity as if contemplating something serious.
'Well save that for later because right now I need to regain control myself physically' Shad Darc said feeling a bit tense
'Well it is simple, just treat it as if you have sleep paralysis which you usually do to the point is feels you are dying, afterwards just think of it as if you are trying to forcefully wake up from it.
'Well lets give it a try then.'
With that Shad Darc begins to more effort in stopping his body from trembling it took all his willpower and maximum effort but he was able to stop his body from the excessive fear it was under.
"phew, this was harder than I thought" he said while wiping the sweat off his face with the back of his hand.
The moment he stopped his trembling body the giant cat like creature raised one it eye brow as if surprised by what he little creature had done then it eyes shine with more amusement more like it had find this little creature to be a little bit interesting even though the little thing doesn't look or smell special.
After wiping the sweat of his face Shad looked at the oversized cat while putting on a gentle man smile he said "Firstly thank you for not attacking a weak and defenselessly human like me I truly grateful for that and I will forever remember this day." But in truth even when Shad Darc was in that state he never truly felt as if he would have died if the oversized cat had attacked him.
While still maintaining his smile he said "Can we now proceed to the next stage."
