After about three days Shad Darc finally woke up to the cold morning of the strange forest. "Damn, how many days must have passed out?"
"Who knows maybe two or three days" said the meditating advisor identity".
"Is that so" he said sarcastically, without expecting any response.
He then checked the conditions of his body if per chance he is crippled or maimed. To his relief no such things happened instead his wounds are completely healed he doesn't feel pain or any discomfort from his body.
He stood up did some light stretches to confirm if his body is truly healed and is in its optimized state only to find his body in a more better conditions than it would have ever been.
"Wow!" he can't help but be wowed at the present state of his body.
It feels as if the entire muscles of his body have loosened becoming freer and strengthen than it is has ever been.
He can't completely explain the present state of his body all he knows is that it feels so much better that it has ever been.
He didn't dwell it for long, rather he just accept the way it is after all he is in a different world, a world with supernatural phenomenon.
He looked towards the side where the corpse of the bearlike creature is thinking to himself how he could have died.
But the thought of death isn't something new for Shad Darc he usually have such thought of how his death would look like will he died painfully, silently or die a wasteful death.
Though he thinks of such thing it doesn't really bother him that much his fear of death is almost non-existent for someone who holds almost no regrets in his life.
Driving unnecessary thoughts away he approached the corpse bent down and thought of the last thing that occur before he passed out.
"I wonder what that strange light is and also the strange resonance I felt with it".
"Hmm" he ponder for a while but there is nothing coming to his mind and since there is nothing coming to his mind on the strange resonance he felt before passing out he decided to do something else.
He reached for his short dagger only realized that it is no longer with him. It has been destroyed during his battle with the bearlike creature.
"Damn, where am I supposed to get a weapon now?"
He said looking somewhat displeased with his eyes darting around until it is stopped at the bearlike creature two horns.
Seeing the horns he faintly smiles, he reached to the horn trying to forcefully pull it out only to hear one of his split identity voice in his head speak.
"You really are stupid to think you can just forcefully pull its horn out just like that or do you think you are now some kind of monster that can just rip out anything" said the pondering fighter.
Shad Darc didn't respond he just keep staring at the horn thinking of a way to pull it out.
Then he heard a hissing sound coming from within the trees a bit further ahead.
He turns around to see the direction at which the strange hissing sound is coming from looking around he found the direction of the hissing sound which was coming from the eastern part of his current position.
The hissing sound wasn't actually loud but somehow he was still capable of hearing it even though he can't see the source which means it must have something big and loud.
That doesn't mean he has some kind of super hearing but rather due to the nature of the hissing sound.
His first thought was that it was a snake but then he thought if a snake can produce such strange hissing sound from a distance of about hundred or so meters.
He wasn't sure what creature it might be this time around or it might be some kind of cross breaded snake or some kind of abomination.
The strangest thing wasn't about him hearing the strange hissing sound but rather in the calm and collected manner he responded to the situation unlike when he first heard the roar of the bearlike creature for the first time.
"Guess you have grown in just three days" said mockingly by the lonely king identity.
'Weird how I am mocking myself' he thought inwardly.
"Is that so?" said the lonely king voice.
"Well never mind, so what are you going to do now?" asked the lonely king voice.
"Nothing" Shad Darc answered plainly"
"I will just wait and see".
He stood there for while observing where the hissing sound came from but he saw nothing neither did he hear any more of the hissing it was as if it never happened.
He turns back to the bearlike creature corpse and begin to seriously contemplate on how to take out its two horn.
While thinking of how to take out it horns he begins to rotate the flow of energy inside his body this time around it was faster than before.
He noticed that his body is now capable of absorbing in the flow of energy without him consciously absorbing it which lead him to another insight on the feeling of flow.
'Hmm, so the moment one feels the feeling of flow and recognize it then he/she can begin to unconsciously absorb and use the flow of energy and this same flow of energy is also capable of healing.
"Interesting".
With this new knowledge of the flow of energy his entire thought on how to use and control the flow of energy completely change.
He no longer sees it as an energy reservoir or some kind of strength booster but as something more, something vital to the inhabitant of this world.
He doesn't know why he is having such thought but what he is certain of is that he is having it easy in this strange world whether by design or by chance.
But then again nothing ever happens by chance in his life and his life has never truly been easy.
One would say Shad Darc is just overthinking things but deep within him he knows that there is more than meets the eye.
While lost in his thought he then heard the same hissing sound coming from above him he raised his head up only to see a giant black looking snake with dark yellow eyes that doesn't look reptilian but instead it looks like human eyes. A human eyes in a different settings
Having a dark yellow sclera instead of white while its iris where black and its pupil white. It was really weird to look at.
He instantly freaked out because he has never heard or seen such a thing before in his life. A snake having a weird looking eyes that resemble that of a human.
Shad Darc looks straight into the eyes of the snake as if trying to communicate with it.
The snake hissed once more as before probably wondering why the weak looking human isn't scared of it while Shad Darc was thinking of how careless he must have been for the large snake to sneak up on him without him noticing it which made him angry at himself.
He was so lost in thought that he doesn't know when or how the large snake sneak up on him. The snake was just a bigger form of an anaconda.
It is both twice the length and width of a fully grown anaconda.
But for some reason he doesn't seem to be scared of it though he might have been flustered and taken unaware but that was all there is there is not even a hint of fear in him.
"Damn, this isn't a good sign"
With that single statement the Giant snake strike at Shad Darc only for its prey to doge its attack.
Shad Darc immediately dodge to the right giving a distance of about a dozen meter or so.
"What the!" he was surprised by the sudden increased in his speed but he didn't let that to get to his head.
Looking at the giant snake who is coiling its large body preparing for another attack he said expressionless.
"So you to want to eat me too, then I must thank you for allowing me to survive for three days you can now come and collect your reward". Shad wasn't sure if the large snake has really allow him to survive to this day or maybe it just recently arrived.
Whichever it was it doesn't really matter at the moment
