Akaibi!"
Akaibi's mother could not stand still as she watched her daughter interacting with this strange young man.
Even though she knew there might be danger, she immediately stepped forward and stood protectively in front of her child.
"Ma'am, I mean no harm," Uchiha Shin said, his voice calm yet firm. "In fact, I might be able to save your daughter."
Uchiha Shin smiled slightly. He admired this woman—strong-willed yet gentle, cautious but not overbearing.
Despite his seemingly kind demeanor, Akaibi's mother remained on guard.
Behind her, Sanzu Akaibi peeked out, her wide eyes filled with curiosity. "Big brother, what's your name? I'm Akaibi! Sanzu Akaibi!"
"Uchiha Shin," he replied without hesitation.
As soon as his name left his lips, the expression on Akaibi's mother darkened. Her daughter had no idea who he was, but she did.
The ruler of the Land of Fire. The God of Shinobi. The man responsible for igniting the flames of the Great Ninja War. His name alone carried a weight that shook nations.
Her husband had spoken of him before, delivering urgent messages warning of his terrifying power. Now, the man himself stood before her, speaking to her daughter with a gentle smile.
Akaibi's mother trembled slightly, unsure how to respond.
"Relax, ma'am. I told you, I mean no harm," Shin said, his voice as smooth as ever. "If I did, you'd be powerless to stop me, wouldn't you?"
With a casual flick of his wrist, he gestured toward the small, weathered home where the mother and daughter lived.
In an instant, the entire structure disintegrated, breaking apart into countless floating fragments. The wood and stone hovered in midair as if gravity itself had bent to Shin's will.
Sanzu Akaibi gasped, eyes sparkling with amazement. "SO COOL!!!"
Shin chuckled. "Hahaha! You think that's cool? Watch this."
He clenched his fist, and the scattered remains of their home surged back together. But instead of its previous, worn-down form, it reconstructed into a luxurious manor, standing tall with polished wood, engraved walls, and a grand entrance fit for nobility.
Akaibi nearly exploded with excitement. "THIS IS MY HOUSE!?"
She squealed, hopping up and down like a hyperactive rabbit.
Her mother, however, stood in stunned silence, now fully understanding the sheer magnitude of Shin's power.
"What... is your purpose here?" she finally managed to ask, her voice hushed.
"Don't overthink it. Your husband works under me now," Shin said, his tone casual but absolute. "And as for why I'm here... I pity your daughter. I want to cure her."
Hearing this, Akaibi's mother felt a wave of relief wash over her. She had no idea how or why her husband, once a member of Kara, had become Shin's subordinate. But none of that mattered now.
What mattered was that her daughter might have a future.
"Master Uchiha Shin," she said, bowing her head in desperation, "Can you really cure Akaibi?"
She knew her daughter's illness all too well. It was congenital—a slow, creeping decay that would gradually weaken her body. Her husband, a brilliant scientist, had once confided in her that Akaibi likely wouldn't survive past thirty.
Desperate, he had set out in search of a cure, leaving his wife behind to care for Akaibi.
And now, out of nowhere, Uchiha Shin claimed he could heal her?
But he was Uchiha Shin.
His name alone carried the weight of the impossible. If anyone could rewrite fate, it was him.
Her hands trembled as she placed them on her daughter's shoulders, her voice breaking. "Akaibi... come here."
Still buzzing with excitement over her new home, Akaibi ran up without hesitation. "What's wrong, Mom?"
Her mother gently pushed her toward Shin. "This is Lord Uchiha Shin. He will treat you. Show him respect."
"No need to be so formal," Shin said, kneeling slightly. "You can just call me big brother, Akaibi."
He reached out, placing a hand on her golden curls, and channeled his chakra into her frail body.
A pulse of energy surged through her cells, unraveling the secrets of her DNA in an instant.
Shin's eyes flickered with understanding. "A genetic defect. Her vitality will drain away prematurely."
He exhaled softly. "It's an easy fix, but it will take time."
Akaibi's mother gasped, a mix of hope and fear flashing across her face.
"Then... there's hope?"
"Of course." Shin smirked. "But we'll do this my way."
Sure, he could heal Akaibi in an instant. But where was the fun in that? If he cured her too quickly, she wouldn't have time to form a bond with him.
With a casual wave of his hand, Shin transported the mother and daughter to Konoha Castle.
Akaibi, ever the ball of energy, immediately began bouncing around, eager to explore her new home. Compared to the monotony of life in the wilderness, this was paradise.
Her mother, meanwhile, was simply grateful her daughter could live a normal life. She bowed deeply in gratitude. "Thank you, Lord Shin..."
But before she could say anything more, he was already gone, soaring toward the battlefield.
Shin had more pressing matters to attend to.
"I will be resurrected soon!" a voice whispered beside him.
Kaguya Otsutsuki floated at his side, her expression one of barely-contained joy. After centuries of being sealed away, her time was finally near.
"We still need two more Tailed Beasts," Shin replied, his voice calm. "And I need to finish decompressing your data."
He smirked. "No need to rush."
Kaguya frowned slightly, then nodded, suppressing her impatience. She had waited a thousand years. A little longer wouldn't kill her.
A playful glint appeared in her eye as she leaned in, wrapping her arms around Shin's neck and pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.
"You really are cruel, Shin. Making a lady wait this long."
Shin chuckled. "Patience, my dear. Good things take time."
To an outsider, he would have looked utterly insane—embracing and whispering sweet nothings to thin air.
But Shin didn't care. He had more important things to focus on.
Moments later, he arrived at the battlefield in the Land of Frost.
Here, the forces of the Land of Fire clashed against remnants of the Rock and Cloud ninja forces. The enemy retreated toward a valley with no escape route.
Sensing victory, the Fire Nation shinobi surged forward—but the moment they stepped into the valley, two monstrous figures erupted from the mountainsides.
Four-Tails Jinchuriki Roshi.
Five-Tails Jinchuriki Han.
In a heartbeat, the tide of battle shifted. The hunters had become the hunted.
Shin grinned, cracking his knuckles. "Finally, some real entertainment."
As chaos erupted around him, Shin stepped forward, ready to claim what was his.
The war was far from over.
And Uchiha Shin was just getting started
