"Izanagi Barrier!"
"Amenotejikara!"
Uchiha Shin activated [Izanagi], rewriting reality to seal off the entire space, ensuring no one could interfere. With a flicker, he teleported straight into the underground base of the Kara organization.
"Izanagi, disengage."
A wave of invisible chakra pulsed outward, neutralizing all security measures and disabling any self-destruction protocols within the base.
Having secured his surroundings, Uchiha Shin turned his crimson Sharingan gaze toward Amado, the lead scientist of Kara, who was sipping his coffee, unaware of the intrusion.
Amado's hands twitched toward his scientific ninja tools, but the moment he locked eyes with Uchiha Shin, it was already too late.
"Kotoamatsukami."
A flicker of resistance crossed Amado's face for less than a second before his pupils dilated, his entire being surrendering to an unshakable loyalty.
"Master Uchiha Shin, you've arrived."
With his subconscious permanently rewritten, Amado was now as devoted to Uchiha Shin as any true subordinate, akin to Orochimaru's loyal experiments.
"Tch, Kotoamatsukami really is convenient. No need for persuasion or prolonged illusions..."
His Sharingan gleamed as he shifted his focus to the other members of Kara, who were already trembling at the overwhelming pressure exuding from him.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
One by one, they collapsed, unable to withstand the sheer force of his mental domination. Their very souls were forcefully wrenched from their bodies, bound and reshaped into Shin's own puppets.
Once he was done, Shin placed a hand on Amado's head.
"Mind Transmission Jutsu."
Memories flooded his mind—Amado's research, his classified data, his secret projects. The man had been experimenting with scientific ninja tools to replace human organs and enhance shinobi capabilities. Additionally, his cloning research was nearing completion, though he had yet to acquire Otsutsuki Shibai's genes.
Currently, Amado had only submitted the proposal to Kara's leader, Jigen.
"Tsk, a little too soon," Shin muttered, though he wasn't particularly disappointed.
Gaining control over Amado meant gaining a mole within Kara, a tactical advantage he would exploit later. More importantly, Shin had now uncovered something even more intriguing—Amado had a daughter.
Akaibi Amado. A frail five-year-old girl, born weak due to a genetic defect. She lived in seclusion with her mother, hidden away in a remote, well-protected sanctuary.
Amado's entire reason for serving Kara was rooted in a desperate attempt to bring his daughter back to full health. His research into genetic modification was not for personal gain, but a father's gamble against fate.
"I'll let Amado remain in Kara for now," Shin decided, his gaze darkening with contemplation. "But later, I'll have him work alongside Orochimaru."
His Sharingan spun as he turned away.
"Izanagi—Rebirth!"
With a single command, reality bent to his will. The members of Kara who had collapsed moments ago now stood once more, their memories rewritten, their wills bent to serve him without question.
Satisfied, Uchiha Shin disappeared from the base without a trace.
His next objective?
Akaibi Amado.
—
"Amenotejikara!"
In an instant, Uchiha Shin reappeared at the far end of the continent, hovering thousands of meters above a vast forest. His Sharingan swept over the landscape, tracing every detail, matching the terrain with the memories he extracted from Amado.
And then he found them.
Deep in the forest, in a secluded clearing, a small girl played on the grass under the watchful eyes of her mother.
Akaibi Amado.
Despite her condition, she appeared full of life, running barefoot across the field, her golden curls bouncing as she laughed.
Her mother, a woman well into her forties, watched from nearby with a gentle smile. Though time had worn at her youthful beauty, there was an undeniable elegance to her appearance.
"Akaibi, be careful."
"I know, Mama!" the little girl called back cheerfully, running even faster.
Shin observed the scene quietly before stepping onto the field, his presence unnoticed—at least, until Akaibi's mother caught sight of him.
Her face paled instantly.
She knew.
She knew that no one was supposed to find them.
And yet, here he was.
"Mama, come catch me!" Akaibi laughed, unaware of the fear gripping her mother's heart.
In her reckless joy, Akaibi stumbled—and fell directly at Uchiha Shin's feet.
Akaibi blinked in confusion. Hadn't there been nothing but grass here? Lifting her gaze, she found herself staring into the face of a tall young man with raven hair and piercing crimson eyes.
Shin crouched, extending a hand toward her.
"Are you alright? Try not to be so careless next time."
His voice was warm, reassuring, a stark contrast to the chilling intensity he had displayed mere moments ago.
Akaibi hesitated, staring at the stranger who, for some reason, didn't feel dangerous to her.
"Eh? Big brother?"
Shin chuckled, ruffling her hair lightly. "You can call me that if you'd like. It's nice to meet you."
The young girl's eyes brightened. "Akaibi is honored! Did you come from outside the forest?!"
Her words were well-mannered, her tone light and full of curiosity. Despite her age, she spoke with an unnatural level of grace, a trait instilled by her upbringing.
Shin smirked. "That's right. I came a long way to meet you."
Akaibi's mother finally found her voice, though it trembled. "Who… who are you?"
Her stance was defensive, though she lacked any combat ability to challenge him.
Shin turned his gaze to her, his Sharingan flickering with unreadable intent. "That depends. Would you rather I be a threat, or an ally?"
A tense silence settled between them.
For the first time, Akaibi sensed the shift in atmosphere, glancing back and forth between her mother and the man before her.
Shin's smirk widened ever so slightly as he knelt before the young girl once more, his fingers brushing against her forehead.
"You're special, Akaibi. I think it's time we make sure you survive long enough to prove it."
Akaibi tilted her head, confused by his words but sensing something important in them.
For her, this was the first time she had ever met someone outside of her mother.
For Uchiha Shin, this was the first step in bending fate itself.
And for Amado…
This was the beginning of a game where even gods could fall.
