The doctor quickly came in and, seeing the situation before him, paused slightly, probably not expecting their negotiation to have failed.
"You wouldn't really consider using such forceful methods, would you? Such measures could very likely make him completely forget about you."
Sometimes, these matters can be extremely risky. If someone truly forgets another person, it may be for good.
"Don't think that having the antidote means you can do whatever you want. If he forgets you, you still won't be able to make him remember you again."
Speaking to this point, the doctor sounded rather helpless, probably hoping the person before him would abandon such thoughts.
"I understand what you mean, but right now, this is my only option. Watching him struggle even to sit up, do you know how much pain I feel in my heart? He used to be such a carefree, happy person."
Perhaps they were simply unlucky to encounter such problems, but what lay ahead couldn't keep tormenting them like this.
