Thomas Fisher leaned in and gave Alice Turner a quick kiss, a pleased curve lifting the corners of his lips, "No matter what you say, I think it sounds heavenly."
In his eyes, everything about her was wonderful.
"You're such a fool, a big fool."
Alice Turner jabbed her right index finger at Thomas Fisher's forehead, then she glared at him with a stern face, before secretly leaning against his shoulder and giggling.
When Thomas Fisher lowered his head, he could see the smile on Alice Turner's face. Seeing her giggle, the curve at the corners of his mouth widened further, "From now on, you're my silly bride."
Sometimes, being a bit silly is not a bad thing; at least there's less to be worried about.
After lingering a while in the dining room with Alice Turner, Thomas Fisher reluctantly got up and left.
