Alice Turner didn't give that incident a second thought, and in the face of Thomas Fisher's invitation, she had already made up her mind not to go drinking with him.
Her alcohol tolerance was pretty bad, and moreover, she wasn't really interested in drinking, especially with people she wasn't familiar with; she needed to be cautious.
"No need to be polite with me."
Thomas Fisher didn't know what Alice Turner was really thinking. Hearing her say that, he thought she was just being polite, so he finally decided, "Eight o'clock tonight at the Night Color Bar, see you there."
After saying this, he didn't hang up the phone immediately but instead listened intently for any sound on the line.
When she heard Night Color Bar, Alice Turner's eyebrows furrowed sharply, but unfortunately, Thomas Fisher on the other end couldn't see it.
"I'm busy tonight, can't get away."
She refused without any hesitation.
"Then tomorrow night."
