Rania felt like her heart had been pulled out of her chest. The sight before her was too much to bear. Seeing her sister on a horse with Xavier, looking like they had known each other forever, was something she hadn't prepared for. It made her chest tighten. Why would Rosalind do something like that? Did she know what she was doing?
Rania didn't want to believe she was jealous, but whatever it was, it was eating her up inside. She turned to Princess Katrina, her voice shaky as she spoke. "Can you go over there and stop it?"
"Me?" Katrina asked, placing a hand on her chest with wide eyes. She turned to face Rania fully, and her face shifted from calm to concern. That look scared Rania. Katrina glanced quickly at Marissa, who was standing just a few steps away. "You know how Rosalind is. If I say anything, I might only make things worse."
"If I go there myself, she'll say I'm jealous."
"But you're not jealous… right?" Katrina asked softly, watching her closely.
