Chester Walker's eyes almost fell to the ground as he watched Marcus Quinn, the 1.9-meter tall man who had trained them hard in the past, silently peeling prawns for his wife and doing laundry and cooking. He suddenly felt as if his whole being wasn't well.
Evildoers meet their match, he thought. Back then, they suffered under Marcus Quinn's command, and now seeing Marcus so obediently managed by little sister-in-law Ada, Walker felt both gratified and saddened.
Thinking of those passionate and spirited years while eating the dishes prepared by Marcus, Walker suddenly got teary-eyed.
Ada was somewhat puzzled, secretly poking Marcus. Out of the blue, why was he crying?
The man glanced warningly at Walker and then said in a low voice, "Maybe he's just hungry."
Ada pursed her lips, smiled, and nodded. She too had been starving a month ago, and almost cried upon eating that bowl of porridge Marcus had left for her.
