Delphine arrived at the hospital in the afternoon. Ignatius Leclair dropped her off and left.
She located Kyla Zamora's ward. Kyla's forehead injury had been stitched with several sutures, and the wound was already bandaged as she scolded a young entertainer who had just regained consciousness.
When Delphine entered, she witnessed Kyla stomping around in anger while the young entertainer repeatedly bawled, "Sis, I'm not leaving! If I go back, I'll never be able to hold my head up again!"
"And when you were flirting with those trust-fund brats, did you ever think about whether you'd be able to hold your head up high?" Kyla was so exhausted from scolding that she ran out of energy. Spotting Delphine, she stepped out of the ward and sat in the hallway in a sulk, a flood of complaints ready to pour out.
Delphine patted her hand and asked, "What did the doctor say?"
