Leah saw that his eyes were red from crying, and her heart ached for him. She quickly tossed the snacks into the suitcase, knelt down, and comforted Casimir Shaw softly, "Casimir Shaw, you're a little adult now. How can you cry like this? This is Mommy's house, feel free to live here."
While Casimir Shaw cried dramatically, he sneakily glanced at Richard Shaw. He saw Richard sitting in the wheelchair, paying him no attention, his gaze entirely fixed on pretty Leah. Casimir immediately began wailing even louder, his tiny voice howling as he cried, "But Richard said we shouldn't live off others without earning it. We can't freeload! I've never lived in such a fancy house in all my life."
Although the little wooden house he shared with Richard was beautiful, poetic, and rustic, with every tree and blade of grass handcrafted by them, he would never admit it. As for the Shaw Mansion, it was an old property too. Casimir blinked a few times and contentedly kept crying louder.
