Baron Grudin was shocked by Bai's words, his face turning pale. The only person he could rely on now was this undead general from Madara. If the latter couldn't protect him, the young and savage viscount might really kill him with a single sword.
But Bai ignored him and said, "I can hold for half an hour, I have that much confidence."
"Half an hour?" Brand seized the emphasis of Bai's words like a true old rival: "What's the point of half an hour? Or are you trying to delay me for some reason?"
"If you weren't my enemy, I'd suspect you were a close friend from my past life," Bai sighed. "Why do you always seem to understand me so well, even better than Marissa does."
Brand just smiled.
