Seeing Jane Quinlan remain silent, Wendy started to feel uneasy.
In the afternoon, Jane Quinlan received a call from downstairs saying there was a delivery for her.
Jane Quinlan muttered to the staff on the other end of the phone, puzzled: "Why would there be a delivery for me? I haven't bought anything online recently."
After hanging up, she mumbled to herself: "Could it be another surprise from Kay Forrest?"
She turned to look at the office door with a giggle, then got up to go downstairs to fetch the delivery.
Soon, she came back upstairs cradling a box.
Wendy looked up at her, and Jane Quinlan triumphantly raised her eyebrows as she used scissors to open the delivery box.
But upon seeing the contents inside, Jane Quinlan couldn't help but scream in horror.
