"He had something this morning and went to the company at 6 o'clock. It seems there was an issue in the venture capital department that he needed to handle."
Evie Larkin nodded.
It seems he didn't ignore her on purpose.
"That... Miss Larkin, you rest, I should head to the company now."
"Thank you for visiting me."
Jane Quinlan smiled: "You are too polite, goodbye."
After speaking, she picked up her bag and walked out.
Nolan Moore put down his bowl: "Evie, take your time and drink first, I will go arrange Jane Quinlan's work for today."
"You should go back too.
Someone will come to take care of me in a bit.
You check the company, and if there's nothing requiring your attention, then head home to rest."
Nolan Moore didn't say anything, he just patted her shoulder to reassure her.
When he caught up with her, Jane Quinlan was waiting for the elevator.
"Thank you for bringing breakfast."
Jane did not say much, just nodded: "It's nothing."
