She knew that confronting him head-on now wouldn't do any good. If she really made a fuss and things got out of hand, and ended up in the news, maybe the fact that she's Mabel Quinn would be discovered. Then things between her and Kyle Kinston would become even more complicated.

Kyle Kinston furrowed his brow slightly, holding Mabel Quinn's hand as he opened the meeting room door. Outside, his accompanying subordinates were guarding the door and they were taken aback upon seeing Kyle appear with a woman by his side.
