While swaying back and forth, she softly hummed a tune.
Nobody had heard the song before; perhaps she was improvising out of joy, "Baby dear, baby handsome, baby dear and cute, when you grow up, I'll get you a bride, a pretty little girl…"
Titus Zane and Mia Foster exchanged a look, both bewildered and amused.
On the sofa, Evander Lancaster poured tea for Nicholas Croft, and with a smile, said, "Big brother, with Lara's talent, if she doesn't go into creating, it would be wasted."
