In a certain special room at the police station, only Nicholas Croft and Harry Zachary were there, sitting face to face. Harry cut straight to the point and asked, "Director Croft, if I take the stand and testify that Director Hannah instructed me to pay a hitman, will you let me off?"
"Have you ever seen the army execute a Traitor?"
Nicholas answered a question with a question.
Harry froze for a second, then lowered his eyes and chuckled when he realized what he meant. Indeed, from Hannah Hargrave's perspective, what he was about to do was exactly what a Traitor would do.
He nodded. "Alright, I agree. Whenever you need me, Director Croft, I'll go to court and testify."
"Mm… that, we'll have to wait a bit." Nicholas dragged out his words lazily, slouching back in his chair.
Harry Zachary…
He frowned in confusion.
His wife had been murdered… one body, two lives. Was Director Croft really not in a hurry to avenge them?
