"Excuse me for interrupting, but which company are you from?" Mia Foster asked with confusion. Elizabeth White's name sounded familiar, but she couldn't remember ever meeting this woman.
"Miss Foster, I'm not an employee of any company; I'm an artist, currently filming a movie," Elizabeth White said, her lips curling into an unmistakable sneer as she introduced herself.
"But... what does that have to do with me?" Mia became even more perplexed, a bad premonition welling up inside her.
"I have no connection with Miss Foster, however..." Elizabeth drew out her words deliberately, "I am pregnant with Felix's child."
As Elizabeth's words fell, Mia felt a dizzying sensation in her head, as if something had suddenly exploded, leaving her mind completely blank, to the point where she couldn't focus on anything else Elizabeth continued to prattle about.
