Chapter 8 - Chapter 2 Finale — Episode 5: The Seventh Umbral Calamity

Scene 5.0: Eorzea, Werlyt, Age: 10 Years Before The Seventh Umbral Calamity

While fighting alongside the Ala Mhigan Forces to reclaim Werlyt from Viceroy Gaius van Baelsar, as they believe that taking out Gaius would make retaking Ala Mhigo all the more easier; Čestislav led the charge thanks to his daughter, Devana's guidance using her Hide Skill and warn the Ala Mhigan Resistance where the Garleans are stationed so the resistance soldiers can execute them and reach Gaius without any issue. However, when Čestislav and the resistance faces Gaius himself, the Viceroy slays them all except for Čestislav as he sees that the Hrothgar is a survivor of Bozja. Gaius offers him a position among his Legion like Livia sas Junius, Rhitahtyn sas Arvina and Nero tol Scaeva, but Čestislav refuses as the reason he is fighting is to undo the senseless expansion of the Garlean Empire. Gaius tries to explain why this is necessary in order to breed acceptance by all just as the Emperor Solus zos Galvus decreed, but Čestislav retorts that expansion through force & deception is no different than conquering the realms and centralizing their power. This approach will breed neither acceptance nor peaceful assimilation; it will only breed resentment and insurgency among the masses. Gaius is disappointed to hear that and challenges the Hrothgar to a battle, Čestislav accepts as he can tell that Gaius is a true warrior, but blinded by an ideology that can destroy the world rather than help it. Čestislav uses his Gunblade and Gaius dual wield his Heirsbane while turning his armor golden. They clash and the battle was evenly match, however due to Gaius' Gilded Armor, most of Čestislav's GNB skills were ineffective as the gold coating of Gaius' Armor reflects most attacks to certain degrees, granting the victory to the Viceroy of Werlyt. Gaius gives Čestislav one more chance to join him, but the Hrothgar refuses and tells not only Gaius, but everyone present to hear his last words before his death referring to Emperor Solus' Vision and those who blindly follow his ideology: "The Road To Hell Is Always Paved With Good Intentions".

Scene 5.1: Eorzea, The Dravanian Hinterland [Moonflower Orphanage]

After witnessing her father's death, Devana was told by him to leave Gyr Abania, head to Dravania and look for the Moonflower Orphanage run by his friends & former party mates, Marcello & Khadagan Pendragon to live with them in order to remain safe from Gaius' Legion. Upon arriving there, Devana is surprised to find her younger sister, Artemis living there as well but decides to treat her as a stranger since she believes that if everyone thinks they aren't related, it will keep her safe. While living there, Devana became best friends with the Pendragon Sisters, Nhaama & Runa, but not so much with Lina for some reason. She would have fun with Selene, Mare and R'ysithea with the Red Miqo'te, having a crush on the Blue Hrothgar. Devana would remain distant towards Artemis, but secretly use her Hide Skill to keep her safe whenever the Viera was alone, ever watching her younger sister from a vantage point from above as the Hrothgar loved to see how the world looks from up high above as one of her dreams is to be at the very top of Kugane Tower. Devana also notices that Artemis has a thing for Runa, but the Au Ra does everything to avoid the Viera much to Devana's amusement as Runa seems the right one for her Artemis.

After bringing Lina to the orphanage, Khadagan & Nhaama would care for Midlander as the girl is still traumatized from the ordeal of almost dying and the loss of her memories. While not caring for Lina, Nhaama would care for the other orphans like singing them songs, dance, play games and tell stories [Not Scary Stories since they all have gone through many hardships; except on All Saints' Wake being the only night allowed for it]. While growing up, Nhaama would always read the Mythril Eye Newspaper on a weekly basis especially in hopes to read about Hildibrand Adventures alongside his trusted assistant, Nashu as the Hyur Girl felt to one day be joining them in an investigation. Her father would teach her how to use the sword with proficiency and defend with the shield. Her technique is so strong that Selene, who is a MRD can't match Nhaama. Nhaama & Devana are the best of friends and the only one Devana confides that she is Artemis' Older Sister. The Hyur laughs as she knows why she worries for her Viera younger sister as Nhaama worries for both of her oown younger sisters, Runa & Lina themselves, even if Lina isn't related to her by blood. Nhaama also oversees the orphanage's functions when her parents are busy doing other stuff like her Father doing Gathering or Adventurer Work and her Mother doing Crafting and Mending as well as Melding Materia into their clothes.

While growing up, Artemis' eyesight was poor even though she is a Viera, but Marcello & Khadagan knows why that is: Artemis have Hrothgar Blood coursing through her veins, so she needs to wear glasses for the rest of her life. Artemis never gets to meet her parents especially that her mother, Venase is still alive in Idyllshire working alongside Slowfix Cointoss, Leader of the Goblins there; and she's unaware that Devana is her sister. Just like her mother, Artemis is born with large amount of Mana meaning that she can master any magick in the star that she uses it to help around the orphanage. Artemis uses AST Cards to make predictions, but with her high affinity to mana allows her to make accurate predictions and one of her predictions is the one she always wanted: Getting Married to Runa. Ever since she was diagnosed with bad eyesight, Runa would hold Artemis' Hand to help her move around whenever she needed to get somewhere without any issue and out of everyone at the orphanage, Runa was the one who always volunteers willingly. Artemis loves the feel of Runa's hands as it feels like she once held them before in another life.

After Lina is allowed to interact with everyone in the orphanage, Runa was the first to extend her hand in friendship to the Midlander Child that is now her foster sister, timidly takes her hand. As they grew up together, Lina would always avoid Runa, but would always spend time with everyone else. One day when Runa went looking for Lina, a cloaked hooded figure that resembles an Ascian with a Golden Mask, attacks the Au Ra with the intent to kill her. At that moment, her mother, Khadagan & her sister, Nhaama jump in and face off against the Ascian, but for some reason, unlike the intent to kill he felt towards Runa, the mysterious assassin is holding back fighting against them by knocking them both out of the way. When the Ascian went for the kill by stabbing Runa with his aether sword, he stabs Khadagan instead as she shields Runa from the attack. Runa screams and faints in shock upon seeing her mother die. Since Kid Runa was unconscious throughout that moment, the Adult Runa witnessing everything now sees what happened afterwards: As soon as the Ascian sees Khadagan hits the floor, dead, he looked like he felt a strong powerful pain as he was holding his head with both hands. Marcello arrives and fights the Ascian off with resentful fury that the cloaked hooded figure had no choice but to run away. Marcello wanted to give chase, but his family & the orphans needed him more. He rushes to Khadagan, but sadly she was already gone; he kisses her forehead and goes to see if Kid Runa was alright. While checking his Au Ra Daughter to see if she's unharmed and doing so emotionally. When he verifies Runa is not hurt, he breathes a sigh and focuses on Nhaama who is still conscious and able to move on her own. After treating Nhaama's wounds and taking them all to a saved location in the Orphanage, Marcello goes to Idyllshire to ask Slowfix Cointoss and his childhood friend, Venase for help but they can only offer a few Goblins to help as the Viera doesn't want to meet her daughters because she wants them to believe she is dead. The Goblins that tended to Nhaama & Runa's Injuries were taught by Venase to use healing Magick.

After the whole ordeal, everything changed: Lina became more distant, cold, angry and always serious. Nhaama became the Mother-figure of the Orphanage, filling her own mother's position while her best friend, Devana fills in Nhaama's position. In order to keep everything in order, the Lalafell Solaris Soltaris helps Nhaama, the Miqo'te R'ysithea Ramses helps Devana and Artemis tries her best to help Runa get better and get along with Marcello as she believes that her father abandoned them to the point that he was having an affair with another woman. At that point seeing her younger self being so angry like Lina, Runa notices the influence of Nidhogg starting to affect her mind. Suddenly, Runa falls to her knees and starts to see all the times she unjustly hated and berated her father that she started crying. Luminescence says nothing and doesn't stare at Runa, she just waits until the Au Ra regains her composure. After regaining her bearings, Runa stares at her younger self in shame and disappointment; yelling at her and calling her a damn fool. Luminescence already knows how Runa led her life while her dad, Marcello was away; so she decided to show the Au Ra what he did before he disappeared…

Scene 5.2: Eorzea, Ul'dah, Adventurer's Guild, Age: 1 Month Before The Seventh Umbral Calamity

As Marcello & Venase finished their current quest, they decide to relax at The Hourglass, but he's disgusted to go there as it is operated by Teledji Adeledji, the one responsible for the death of Solaris' Parents and the Lalafell doesn't know as she was a newborn when she was sent to him by Godbert Manderville; however while dining there, a figure from the past stood before them: Raubahn now turned General of the Immortal Flames.

Raubahn:

Long time, old friends.

Marcello:

It has.

Raubahn:

I heard of what happened to your wife. My condolences. How are your daughters are faring?

Marcello:

My Eldest has taken Khadagan's Role as the Head of the Orphanage. Her Best Friend has take her Role. My youngest daughter and my adopted daughter are the ones that are traumatized the most. My youngest hates me and my adopted has become more angry. She used to be so shy and innocent.

Raubahn:

The trauma of losing a love one will do that. I should know.

Marcello:

I had forgotten the feeling since I have been living in peace for so many years, especially with an ever growing family. At first the children that went in our care were broken, but then thanks to my wife and daughters, they were already in high spirits in a matter of days.

Raubahn:

Once again, I am sorry for your loss. And I am also sorry for the loss of Čestislav Macedonia.

Venase:

He was a brave fool. I miss him…

Raubahn:

Gaius van Baelsar was the one who did it.

Venase:

I know. Word travels fast.

Marcello:

How are you faring, old friend? It is not every day the General of the Immortal Flames approaches us so casually.

Raubahn:

You are right. Can we speak of this at the Flame Barracks? There we will have a little more privacy.

Marcello:

Lead the way.

As soon as they enter the Flame Barracks, they take a seat and given a map of Mor Dhona's Carteneau Plains with the name "The Battle of Carteneau". It displayed how all 3 Grand Companies along with Louisoix Leveilleur's Circle of Knowing who are accompanied by the Warrior of Light found in Limsa Lominsa. Both Marcello & Venase didn't recognize the names of Louisoix's Entourage who were: Y'shtola Rhul, Yda Hext, Papalymo Totolymo, Thancred Waters, Urianger Augurelt, Moenbryda Wilfsunnwyn and Rammbroes Zasertylsyn. The name of the Warrior of Light is redacted from the official record in order to keep him anonymous until the final battle. The Viceroy overseeing the Carteneau Plains of Mor Dhona is none other than Nael van Darnus, The White Raven and Leader of the VIIth Legion. As soon as Marcello sees Nael's name, he doesn't asks about the dangers or the pay, he asks: "When Will The Battle Take Place?". Raubahn is surprised seeing Marcello so willingly without asking any of the usual questions, but Venase knows why Marcello said "When" this fast: It's because he has a score to settle with Nael for the destruction of his home and family in his youth.

Scene 5.3: Eorzea, The Dravanian Hinterland [Moonflower Orphanage]

Upon returning home, Marcello confides everything to Nhaama, Lina & Devana. He wanted to tell Runa, but she was out gathering along with Artemis; since he doesn't have time to wait for them to get back before getting ready for the operation, he leaves right away to Thanalan along with Venase, but before leaving, Venase is confronted by Devana, away from everyone's sight. The Viera hugs & kisses her Hrothgar Daughter as she asks her to look after Artemis. Devana, for the first time ever since her father died, was crying like never before since then as she has heard those words before and hugged her mother one last time as the Hrothgar knows she will never see her mother again after that night. As they walk away, Runa & Artemis catches a glimpse of them while hiding from their view as they returned. Something inside Artemis broke upon seeing her mother; even though she doesn't recognizes her, she knows she'll never see her again. Artemis can't explain why she is heartbroken seeing the Older Viera she never saw before or even from another Clan and yet, Artemis was crying nonstop. As for Runa, she looks at her father in disdain because she believes that he was two-timing her mother with Venase the entire time. Meanwhile as she was stalking Runa to find a weakness to use against her, Solaris sees Venase in her SGE Gear and is taken aback by the Viera's Aesthetic & Beauty, but the Lalafell's keen eyes figures out Venase's Identity: She's Artemis' and surprisingly to her, she's also Devana's Mother. Solaris already noticed peculiarities between Artemis & Devana, but the Lalafell never considered the possibility that they are Blood Related Sisters. When they returned, Runa & Artemis said nothing about seeing Marcello with Venase, but Nhaama tells her younger sister that their father might not be coming back as he will be fighting a battle where he might not survive; the Au Ra scoffs annoyingly which saddens not only her older sister, but everyone in the orphanage as she returns to her room. However in her room, even though Runa hated her father during that time, she couldn't help but cry knowing that she'll never see him again, but wonders why she is saddened by this. The Runa that is reliving this moment looks behind herself and sees Nidhogg cackling on seeing the Au Ra's younger self suffering and confused.

Scene 5.4: Aetherial Sea, Time: Unknown, Age: Climax of the Ninth Umbral Calamity

Runa:

(Saddened)

I wish…I could apologize to him.

Luminescence:

His story isn't over yet…and neither is your mother's.

Runa:

(Shocked)

What…!?

Luminescence:

The Ascian with the Golden Mask took your mother's soul and sent it to an alternate timeline where she doesn't die.

Runa:

Why!? Why do that!? Ascians do not care for anyone in the Reflections. They just want to rejoin them in order to restore their old world.

Luminescence:

That is inevitable. The Source and its Reflections were never meant to be separate. Like Emet-Selch told you a long time ago – The Rejoining is Inevitable. The Sundering was created in order to protect everyone from Meteion Spreading Dynamis all throughout the entire cosmos. But that time is over thanks to you making her see reason. Funny that Venat thought on how to make the Sundering happen in order to save everyone, but not planned how to undo it and rejoin the Reflections once Meteion had been either pacified or destroyed. Fun Fact – This Ninth Umbral Calamity is actually the Final Rejoining that the Ascian in the Golden Mask has planned by forcing all 13 Reflections merge with the Source all at once without any more delays.

Runa:

I see…you want me to come back to life to stop it.

Luminescence:

Yes...and no.

Runa:

What do you mean?

Luminescence:

I told you before – The Great Rejoining is Inevitable. I just don't want it to be done using the power of the High Seraph, Ultima. Besides…that is what the Ascian in the Golden Mask wants – The Rejoining in order to restore your mother. The reason is…he loves your mother more than anything, but he hates you more than anything.

Runa:

(Furious)

Why? What did I ever do to be hated in such a manner!? Because of something I did as Azem!?

Luminescence:

Close and I wish I could tell you, but if I do…my own plans won't happen. All I can say is that using the High Seraph is not the right way to do the Great Rejoining.

Runa:

But the Great Rejoining will end the lives of everyone!

Luminescence:

Not completely true. You see, the Ascians want to force the Great Rejoining. They wanted to use Zodiark for that and yes, lives were going to be lost because of the means used. Using Ultima is worse because she plans to end all life! The Ascian with the Golden Mask wants the Great Rejoining to happen, but not for the same reasons as the Ascians. This Ascian is doing all of this, for the sake of your mother.

Runa:

And yet you refuse to tell me why. You want the Great Joining to happen and you claim that loss of life that will bring is not completely true, yet you have yet to explain how.

Luminescence:

The Great Rejoining will cause loss of life, that I will not deny…but only to the ones that no longer exist in the Source. I'll give you an example…Moenbryda Wilfsunnwyn. She died fighting trying to eliminate Nabriales, remember? Or Papalymo Totolymo stopping Shinryu created by Ilberd Feare using Nidhogg's Eyes?

Runa:

How could I forget…

Luminescence:

Imagine the possibility of the two of them alive in one of the Reflections. Now, if the Great Rejoining happens and the Original Source Bodies are not alive…the reflection has no where to return to. But lives that already died in the Reflections but are alive in the Source, their souls will find a way to their respective bodies without any negative side-effects. An example I can give…is you.

Runa:

(Surprised)

Me?

Luminescence:

Ardbert Hylfyst means anything to you?

Runa:

My Reflection…

Luminescence:

Have you suffered any negative side-effects after Rejoining with him?

Runa:

No…I haven't. Instead, I…I grew stronger. Not strong enough to match Emet-Selch on my own, but strong enough to match Zenos after saving Meteion from herself.

Luminescence:

An example I can also give is Nitowikwe. Her Reflection, Agna died because of a cave-in at an Amh Araeng Cave located in the Hills of Amber as well as her son. When the First rejoins with the Source, Agna's Shard will merge with Nitowikwe. Even if the soul is dead in a Reflection, it will always find a way to return to the Source Body.

Runa:

I see…But Ryne, Gaia, Lyna, Runar…

Luminescence:

Unfortunately, they won't survive…unless they are like Krile and is in the Source when the Great Rejoining takes place. Or did you forget that she originated from a Reflection?

Runa:

I forgot about that.

Luminescence:

I'll repeat again…they can be saved if they are in the Source. But that falls in the category of "The Need of the Few Outweighs the Need of the Many". But I'd be a hypocrite to say that's a selfish way of doing things since I've done it myself in one of my past lives. So…what will you do?

Runa:

(Takes A Deep Breath)

First…show me what happened to my father at The Battle of Carteneau then I'll give you my answer.

Luminescence nods in approval with proud smile as she snaps her fingers, teleporting them to the final 24 hours before the Battle of Carteneau that led to the Seventh Umbral Calamity…

Scene 5.5: Eorzea, Coerthas Central Highlands [Camp Dragonhead], Age: 24 Hours The Seventh Umbral Calamity

After the briefing on what everyone's roles are, Marcello is annoyed to learn that the life of the White Raven already ended some time ago during a final battle with the Warrior of Light before this operation, so he won't be getting the chance for his revenge. Marcello looks around the camp and his happy to be in the area where Khadagan arrived in Eorzea; but next to where he is standing, he sees 2 Elezen Youths practicing how to use the sword more effectively. Marcello smiles, approaches the 2 youths and shows off his skills to them. They are so impressed they wanted to know more about his style and technique. The Highlander smiles and teaches them all he can before he's called to duty. The Elezens ask his name and tells them his name is Marcello as the Elezens introduce themselves as Aymeric & Haurchefant. They thank him for teaching them the Ways of the Sword as Runa now understands why Aymeric's and Haurchefant's Swordstyle resembles her father: he taught it to them. While Marcello is heading to Mor Dhona from the south of the Coerthas Central Highland alongside the Warrior of Light, Venase is heading to Mor Dhona from the North of Thanalan with the 3 Leaders of the Grand Companies of Eorzea: General Raubahn Aldynn of the Immortal Flames, Elder Seedseer Kan-E-Senna of the Twin Adders and Admiral Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn of the Maelstrom.

Scene 5.6: Eorzea, Mor Dhona [Carteneau Plains], Age: 4 Hours Before the Seventh Umbral Calamity

Upon arriving at Carteneau Plains alongside the Warrior of Light who is a Midlander WAR and his party: a Male Roegadyn PLD, a Female Lalafell WHM, a Female Miqo'te BRD and a Male Elezen BLM; decide to go on the offensive when they heard that Nael van Darnus has commanded the VIIth Legion to get everything ready for Dalamud to fall and the summoning of the Primal Bahamut. The Warrior of Light couldn't believe his ears as he and his party ended Nael and her clones all behave like monsters without any rational thought coursing through their minds. If one of them is able to think like exactly like the Real White Raven, then they can't wait for the Allied Forces to begin the assault. So they charge at the Garlean Forces with everything they have. Everything turn out as originally, but Luminescence wants to show Runa what happened to the Au Ra's father and Venase, so the Dark Interdimensional Deity shows a lot of things that breaks Runa's heart. While Marcello is fighting alongside the Warrior of Light and his party, the Highlander notices something that no one did: The White Raven, Nael van Darnus heading towards a nearby teleporter. Marcello gives chase without saying a word to the Warrior of Light and everyone else; he even discarded his Linkshell so no one could listen in if this is in reality Nael still alive. Upon arriving at a location that will become the Second Coils, Marcello confronts the White Raven to see if it's really him. Nael doesn't give Marcello a chance to talk and goes straight to battle. Thanks to living and training with his late wife, Khadagan, Marcello knows the way of the LNC/DRG that he is able to evade and overpower the Garlean. As soon as Marcello unmasks the White Raven, it is Nael, the one that died during "Her" encounter with the Warrior of Light. Nael revealed that after she gave everything of herself to Dalamud, she was rewarded by becoming Bahamut's Herald. Suddenly, Marcello notices the Red Moon Dalamud falling, so the PLD believes that if he kills the resurrected White Raven, he can stop the coming of the Seventh Umbral Calamity, but it's too late as Bahamut Prime appears in the Skies. Causing untold destruction and before Marcello could kill Nael in order to fully stop Bahamut, she was already gone.

Marcello curses and blames himself for allowing this to happen, but suddenly a Man that resembles Luminescence except he's wearing all white appears before the Highlander: This was Luminescence's Husband, Darkescence. He told Marcello that his wife, Khadagan is still alive and she is in an alternate Reflection, waiting for him. He would help Marcello find her, but time works and flows differently in an alternate reality. So he can spend from decades to even centuries there, but only a few years would take place hereon the Source. Understanding the dangers, Marcello accepts the offers and bids farewell to his world as he heads out to look for his wife as he states that his daughters are more than capable to survive without him. Darkescence smiles and leaves with Marcello in search for Khadagan. Meanwhile Venase is healing everyone using her SGE Wings and trying to keep everyone alive, even the Garleans but she made sure that they aren't healed to the point that they can't fight back against the Allied Forces. But as soon as the Primal, Bahamut Prime was summoned, its Teraflare hit everything around it; killing countless and leveling the camps around there, even the the rocks from above were going to crush them all to death as they fall. Venase uses her barriers to protect everyone so they can escape along with the Garlean Survivors and tragically, the Viera is flattened once her barrier loses power, crushing her. Venase's blood as well as her right arm was found days later, but not the rest of her body as the rescue team believes that a dangerous monster might have eaten her or possibly Bahamut's Teraflare might have cremated the rest her body due to the intense heat of the magick. Runa doesn't know what to tell Artemis & Devana of how their mother met her end.

Scene 5.7: Aetherial Sea, Time: Unknown, Age: Climax of the Ninth Umbral Calamity

Luminescence:

Well…what will you do now?

Runa:

That man…Darkescence…what is he to you?

Luminescence:

(Lovey-Dovey)

💓 My Dear Hubby!!! 💓

Runa:

(Annoyed Sigh, Facepalm)

I should have known…

Luminescence:

(Serious Expression)

Still…what will you do now that you know all of this?

Runa:

Will you help me to find him? I want to help him to look for my mother.

Luminescence:

So you forgive him?

Runa:

Yes and all because Nidhogg manipulated me to hate him for no reason other than to take over my body.

Nidhogg:

"What Will You Do To Me Now!? Expelling Me Will Not Do You Any Good! My Blood Courses Through Your Veins Far More Than Your Sister. You Cannot Rid Of Me Without Suffering Negative Side Effects."

Luminescence:

Unfortunately he's right. Nether you nor I can remove Nidhogg from your soul. Don't get me wrong, there is a way to remove him, but now that you have become aware of him, removing him now is not possible at the moment. He will one day, just not yet.

Runa:

I see. Now…where are my parents?

Luminescence:

I…

(Ashamed, Blushing)

…forgot to ask my hubby where exactly…?

(Smiling Nervously)

Runa:

(Annoyed)

So what now?

Luminescence:

(Excited Smile)

Then we go Reality Hopping like Rabbits, Bunnies, Loporrits or Vieras. We'll never have a boring moment.

Runa:

(Facepalm, Annoyed)

So we will be traveling nonstop until we know they are in said star.

Luminescence:

(Cartman Voice)

Yeah, Pretty Much!

(Cough Loudly Followed By Clearing Throat)

My hubby makes it easy. Must be because he used to be an infiltrator type Adventurer and I was always the direct approach combatant type back in the day.

Runa:

Are you done?

Luminescence:

Let me grab a glass of water and we can go. I hope you are ready to explore worlds we weren't meant to go to, but need to go through certain hurdles along the way. Are you ready to look for your parents while causing chaos along the way?

Runa:

(Laughs)

I'm an Adventurer! This Is What I Live For!

Luminescence:

(Smiling)

Alright! Let's get this show on the road!

As Luminescence snaps her fingers, Runa and her are sent to an alternate reality in search for the Au Ra's parents.

Scene 5.7: Eorzea, Night [Ishgard], Age: 6 Days Before the Ninth Umbral Calamity

The Scions along with Nhaama, Artemis, Devana, Selene, Solaris, Mare & R'ysithea are wondering where Runa has gone to since she's nowhere to be found. Alphinaud wonders if the Au Ra is was sent somewhere on the Star or possibly on another Reflection; Alisaie remembers that Runa's home is somewhere in Dravania as Nhaama doesn't believe her younger sister would return to the Orphanage as she always felt isolated there. Urianger & Artemis can't find Runa using their AST Cards which worries everyone there. Until Venase wearing a long white coat and an eyepatch covering her right eye enters the room. Devana is spooked seeing that her mother is still alive, but she notices that the Viera lost her right eye and left arm.

Venase:

Runa Pendragon is no longer on this star.

Y'shtola:

Who are you?

Venase:

I Am A Dead Woman…Neither Enemy Nor Friend. I am from a world where such words are meaningless…A Meddler with a Message, so to speak.

Lyse:

She meant your name.

Venase:

What is a name? A means to identify myself or a means to label me?

Alphinaud:

Now you are arguing semantics.

Alisaie:

(Furious)

This is a waste of time!

(Draws Weapon)

You will talk now or I will make you!

Venase:

(Imposing Glare)

Is that any way to address the only one that knows where the Au Ra Warrior of Light is located. But if you are planning on turning me away, so be it.

Devana:

Wait, Mo—I mean…Madam. Please. We just want to find out where our friend is at.

Venase:

(Notices Devana's Slip, Defeated Sigh)

You may call me "Esanev Luminaria". Runa Pendragon is looking into the identity of the one who brought back the High Seraph, Ultima. But in order to defeat this culprit, she need to recruit 2 people in order to compel our enemy to stop this insanity. However…to Fully Defeat Ultima…we will need, at minimum the power of 8 Warriors of Light. 8 out of 20 Warriors of Light.

Scions:

(Surprised)

20!?

Venase:

Indeed. There are a total of 20 Warriors of Light on average in 1 Reflection and all of them are 2 of Each Race…1 of Each Sex. Runa is The Female Au Ra Warrior of Light.

G'raha Tia:

Interesting. This reminds me of what happened in the First.

Venase:

So…multiple Warriors of Light awoken at the same time there too. It seems it was inevitable since multiple Warriors of Light awoken here in Eorzea during the arrival of the Seventh Umbral Calamity.

Krile:

(Surprised)

Wait! Here too!? Where are they!?

Venase:

(Points At The Moonflower Girls)

Those 7 Are The Female Warriors of Light besides Runa…as well as the Midlander Lina Pendragon.

Nhaama, Artemis, Devana, Selene, Solaris, Mare, R'ysithea:

(Shocked)

WAIT WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!?!?!?

Thancred:

Wait. You said Lina Pendragon. That is Runa & Nhaama's Adopted Younger Sister.

Cid:

Then we should bring her here. We might hold Ultima back until Runa returns if she is a Warrior of Light.

Venase:

That…is not possible.

Devana:

Why not?

Venase:

Because Lina Pendragon…has gone missing.

Upon hearing those words, Nhaama falls to her knees to hear that both of her younger sisters are missing.
