Many months had passed, and today was an important day.
Because today was the U.A. Entrance Exam.
But for Izuku, this was just another step in his path .
Ever since acquiring One For All, he had not relaxed for even a single moment. He trained relentlessly.
His schedule was strict—physical conditioning, combat training, quirk mastery, and mental fortification.
Through Soul State, he refined his mind, sharpening his strategic thinking to an unnatural level.
Through Martial Arts, he perfected his body, integrating One For All seamlessly.
Through Proficiency Panel, he pushed every skill to its peak.
And now, standing before U.A.'s massive gates, he felt calm.
Because for him—
This exam was nothing more than a playground.
As Izuku Midoriya walked through the gates of U.A. High School, he noticed Katsuki Bakugo among the crowd of examinees. Reflecting on the differences from the anime, he realized that without the incident involving the sludge villain and All Might's intervention, Bakugo hadn't gained the experience to fight a threat. but it has nothing to do with him so he did not care .
His thoughts then drifted to his feline companion, Tarry, whom he had recently adopted. Tarry possessed a unique ability to control and hide within people's shadows, as well as absorb them to enhance his own powers. When Tarry absorbed someone's shadow, the individual would become unconscious, recovering naturally after a few days. At this moment, Tarry was nestled within Izuku's own shadow, a silent partner in the upcoming trial.
Entering the auditorium, Izuku observed numerous prospective students gathered, all aspiring to secure a spot at U.A. High. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation. Soon, Present Mic took the stage, exuding his characteristic enthusiasm.
"To all examinees participating in the U.A. Entrance Exam, welcome! Now, everybody say 'hey'!" he exclaimed.
The crowd remained silent, the weight of the occasion dampening any spirited responses.
"How cold," Present Mic remarked, unfazed. He continued, "Let's move on to a quick rundown of the practical exam. As stated in your application forms, you'll be participating in a 10-minute mock battle in a replica urban setting."
He elaborated that examinees could bring any equipment they deemed necessary for the exam. Additionally, to prevent collaboration between acquaintances, candidates from the same schools were assigned to different test sites.
"There are three types of faux villains you'll encounter: 1-point, 2-point, and 3-point villains. Use your quirks to immobilize or destroy these robots to earn points. However, be careful not to harm other participants."
At that moment, a bespectacled boy with a stern demeanor stood up, raising his hand sharply.
"I have a question!" he declared.
"Go ahead," Present Mic responded.
"The printout mentions four types of villain bots. Is this a misprint? Such an oversight would be unbecoming of Japan's premier hero academy."
Present Mic chuckled, appreciating the student's attention to detail. "Ah, good catch! The fourth type is a zero-point villain. It's an obstacle you might want to avoid, as defeating it won't earn you any points."
With that clarification, he concluded, "Now, let's get ready to go beyond—PLUS ULTRA! I wish you all the best of luck!"
The examinees were then directed to their assigned testing locations, each mentally preparing for the challenge ahead. Izuku, with Tarry concealed in his shadow, felt a surge of determination. This was his moment to demonstrate the results of his relentless training and secure his place at U.A. High School.
