The moment I stepped through the vortex, everything disappeared.
There was no light. No darkness either.
There was simply nothing.
I remained still for several seconds, allowing my perception to settle. Nothing entered my senses. No energy. No Law fluctuations. No spatial disturbance. Not even the faintest trace of existence.
I frowned slightly and looked around.
There was nothing to look at.
Aurora had told me that this place was a secret dimension where I could search for Origin, but she had never explained what I would actually find here. I had imagined ancient ruins, strange phenomena, perhaps some kind of environment that naturally contained traces of Origin.
Instead, I had entered an empty void.
I decided to move.
My body accelerated, and I flew forward at full speed.
