Chapter 43 - d j

Quan-sama strode out from the inner chamber, her sharp eyes immediately spotting the head of the Ōtsutsuki Clan's branch family waiting patiently nearby. This man was once a formidable leader, but now he was a shadow of his former self, teetering on the brink of death.

He had orchestrated a desperate gambit — gathering the eyes of his entire clan to form a colossal, living artifact: the giant Reincarnation Eye. His hope was to harness this overwhelming power, merging the bloodlines of his entire family to dominate the world with unrivaled strength.

However, fate had other plans.

All of his painstaking schemes ultimately became Quan-sama's windfall.

---

Quan-sama's lips curled into a wicked smile as she contemplated her next move. She intended to utilize the most terrifying power of Divine Ink — an ability known as Impregnation.

This was no ordinary ink.

Divine Ink had the unique property of turning other liquids black when it touched them — but it didn't stop there. It could also convert energy itself into its own blackened form.

This meant anything dyed by Divine Ink could be absorbed, consumed, and devoured, body and soul.

---

Now, with the revived Divine Ink granting her a powerful cultivation technique infused with this divine ability, Quan-sama was ready to absorb everything that was dyed black — not just physical matter, but bloodline limits, memories, and all the essence that defined a being's power.

Although this divine power had a dark, almost evil aspect, Quan-sama did not care. The world was a brutal place, a savage jungle where the strong devoured the weak. Righteousness was a luxury for the defeated. If you were to survive and rise, you had to be ruthless.

---

Confidently, Quan-sama approached the head of the Ōtsutsuki branch family, who stood obedient and immobile some distance away.

This man had been mentally shackled by the power of Shisui's eyes, which Quan-sama had used to indoctrinate him. To him, Quan-sama was his master — the absolute authority he must obey without question.

Thus, Quan-sama could command him freely, and it was his natural duty to comply.

---

She glanced over his body with satisfaction. Most of the Ōtsutsuki Bloodline power had already been absorbed by her, explaining why Ōtsutsuki Toneri would later evolve into a Reincarnation Eye.

Quan-sama licked her lips greedily, her tongue flicking out in anticipation.

"Don't move," she ordered sharply.

"Yes!" The clan head obeyed without hesitation, standing rigidly in place.

---

Then, something incredible happened.

Countless glowing runic lines suddenly appeared on Quan-sama's body, a swirling combination of Divine Ink and ancient spell formations.

These intricate lines spread rapidly, piercing through her skin and injecting a massive amount of Divine Ink into her veins.

This technique was unique — it could only be used on opponents whose chakra reserves were weaker than Quan-sama's own.

The process was exhausting, demanding nearly the same amount of chakra as the target possessed to dye them completely black.

Quan-sama's reserves were vast but not limitless, and as the Divine Ink surged into her body, she broke into a cold sweat.

She had to inject the ink twice before the transformation was complete.

---

When the ritual finished, the clan head's chakra was fully dyed black.

Then, like a spider pulling a trapped fly into its web, the runic lines wrapped around him, dragging him into Quan-sama's very flesh.

Where his skin touched hers, Divine Ink surged violently, coiling and swirling.

The clan head screamed in agony as his body dissolved into the ink, merging with it until nothing remained but his essence.

---

"Just like that," Quan-sama chuckled darkly, "his Ōtsutsuki Bloodline power is transferred into me, becoming mine. Hehehe, this divine ability is truly perfect."

Her grin deepened, and she added in a low, mocking tone, "My apologies, old man. I'll be slowly digesting your bloodline power. Hahahaha…"

---

As the absorption process ended, the Divine Ink receded back into Quan-sama's body, leaving no trace of the clan head behind.

She immediately sat cross-legged on the ground, focusing all her energy on digesting the immense power coursing through her.

---

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through her head.

She groaned and clutched her temples, struggling to endure the flood of memories crashing into her mind.

"So many memories… such a headache!" Quan-sama muttered through gritted teeth.

"The old man's power is incredible — so much Ōtsutsuki Bloodline. I can't possibly digest it all at once. I must circulate my cultivation technique quickly."

---

She closed her eyes, taking deep breaths as she began to refine and assimilate the overwhelming energy.

Time passed.

Finally, Quan-sama opened her eyes and stood.

She gazed down at the immense chakra swelling within her, an expression of awe mixed with satisfaction spreading across her face.

---

"Such power," she breathed. "Truly magnificent."

A hint of bitterness crept into her voice.

"But to become an evil cultivator… fate plays cruel tricks on us all."

---

Quan-sama smirked, baring her sharp teeth as she stuck out her tongue and licked her lips.

"What I did was like a snake devouring its prey — natural selection in its purest form."

She straightened, adjusting her robes, and added with an air of defiance, "Besides, what else can I give up now?"

With that, she turned toward the palace, her steps measured and confident.

---

As she walked, a sudden thought crossed her mind.

There were still two other members of the Ōtsutsuki Clan present — two survivors with powerful bloodlines intact.

Quan-sama approached them calmly.

Seeing them standing frozen and immobile, she let out a sigh.

---

"Ah, Shisui," she murmured. "Your ability is indeed formidable — but in the end, it all benefited me."

---

Turning to the two clan members, Quan-sama's voice took on a commanding tone.

"From this moment onward, you two are my subordinates."

She paused, contemplating how she wanted to be addressed.

"What shall you call me?" she asked with a sly grin. "Oh, I know. Call me Quan-sama."

---

"Yes, Quan-sama!" The two knelt before her without hesitation, eyes lowered in respect and submission.

Quan-sama glanced around the palace, nodding approvingly.

---

"This place will be my territory now."

Her gaze hardened as she looked toward the distant Earth, the world below.

A cold snort escaped her lips.

---

Suddenly, the soul of an old man appeared before her.

Quan-sama's expression grew grave.

"Ōtsutsuki Hamura?" she said cautiously. "Have you come to cause me trouble?"

---

Hamura shook his head, his spectral form calm and composed.

"No," he replied. "I have not come to bring strife, but to offer thanks."

He bowed deeply.

"Thank you, Quan-sama, for saving Earth — for saving all living beings on its surface — and for protecting my descendants."

---

Quan-sama scoffed, her eyes narrowing.

"Saving? It is far from certain."

---

Hamura smiled gently.

"That is a matter between you and the people of Earth. I hold no more worries."

With that, he and the other Ōtsutsuki souls vanished like mist in the wind.

---

Quan-sama let out another cold snort, turning her attention back to the power she now wielded.

With the Mangekyo Sharingan in her possession, the next milestones were clear: the Reincarnation Eye and the Rinnegan.

---

She thought of the Reincarnation Eye — the immense Ōtsutsuki bloodline power surging within her body was a rare gift.

However, the giant Reincarnation Eye was gone.

---

"Is there any way to obtain the Reincarnation Eye now?" Quan-sama asked the Ōtsutsuki woman standing nearby.

---

The woman answered respectfully, "Quan-sama, the clan head previously absorbed our clansmen's bloodline, intending to control the Reincarnation Eye. Now that the giant eye is gone, with the pure Ōtsutsuki bloodline inside his body, as long as you acquire a pair of pure Byakugan, it is possible to create the Reincarnation Eye."

---

She continued, "I had planned to die alongside the clan head and then refine his pure bloodline onto Toneri, so that he would obtain the Byakugan on Earth in the future and evolve it into the Reincarnation Eye."

---

Quan-sama nodded in understanding.

"So that's the plan."

She unfurled a scroll, revealing a pristine pair of Byakugan eyes.

With a wicked grin, she dyed the Byakugan black with Divine Ink, then absorbed them into her own body.

---

"Whether I place them on my eyes or inside my body, it makes no difference."

---

Excited, Quan-sama stuck out her tongue and licked her lips.

"With this, I will soon possess the Reincarnation Eye. Then I will be among the strongest beings in existence."

Her laughter echoed through the moon's desolate halls.

"Hahahahahahaha!"

---

The Reincarnation Eye was nearly complete — only the Rinnegan remained to be obtained.

But to acquire the Rinnegan, she first needed to evolve her Mangekyo Sharingan into the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

---

She now needed to evolve her mother's Sharingan into the Mangekyo Sharingan, but that would take time.

Before her mother died, her sorrow and regrets nearly allowed her Sharingan to evolve, but it stalled at the Three Tomoe stage.

---

Quan-sama had been nourishing these two Sharingan with her spiritual power and Divine Ink, knowing that Divine Ink had the power to evolve the Sharingan.

She had almost succeeded in evolving them before, but her mother's untimely death forced an early end.

---

Now, she continued to nurture her mother's Sharingan, aiming to evolve it into the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Once achieved, she would fuse it with her own Mangekyo Sharingan to become the Eternal Mangekyo Rinnegan.

---

"I refuse to believe," Quan-sama hissed with determination, "that without Indra and Asura's chakra, I cannot become a Rinnegan. Hmph."

---

Her voice echoed through the silent halls, a promise of power and vengeance to come
