A clan rich, born of old.
Made strong with stories foretold.
Born a child with immeasurable feats.
Blessing those who are within it's reach.
A vessel of God, born within a child.
Saved by his mortal brother, living his life.
Until he witnesses pain, he sees no strength.
When he witnesses his fated love's death.
A dark night occured in the town of Kizami City, the city of peace. This was where people usually came on vacation. The lights flickered around the illuminated city, bringing us to the hospital, where a birth was in place.
The creation of One.
A group of assassins lurked around the hospital while it was dark, shattering the lights with their blades, keeping it completely dark.
"Our goal is to retrieve that damn child.." The leader of the assassin spoke as they lurked through the halls, their sword out in case of an ambush. They all looked through the glass, analyzing each baby.
"Boss, how do we know when we've got the baby?" One of the assassins spoke.
"Well, when we touch the baby. It says in the prophecy that if this baby is touched, it shall grant otherworldly abilities." The leader spoke.
The 5 continued roaming until they felt a stronger presence in the air.
"How can a baby be that powerful.." One of the assassins spoke
"Because of the damn prophecy!! Now go find it!"
"You know..If you keep believing in those crappy prophecies, they'll claim your lives?" They all heard as a silhouette appeared down the hallway.
The leader quickly ran at them, tossing their sword at them, but it was stopped, their body being kicked to the wall, barraged by fists.
The other assassins quickly charged at the shadowy figure, all being blitzed and slashed by a blade, the person running into the room.
Suddenly, another silhouette appeared, running behind the person.
"Everything's clear. The Syndicate won't get the child." The person spoke to the other who picked up the child.
"Alright, let's head back to the estate." They said as they both ran outside, dashing through the corridors, the other person defending them from rogue assassins, defeating them all as they managed to jump out of a large window, gliding across the sky.
They both took off their masks, taking deep breaths as they slowly descended to the Kurakami Estate, the Leader of them awaiting for their child to be given to them.
"Akami, Kuroyami. I thank you for returning my child." The leader spoke.
Akami and Kuroyami both nodded as they fist bumped each other.
"I shall name him..Kaizen.." He said as he lifted him up in his hands, the sky suddenly clearing.
Akami looked. "That's a good name.." He looked at the child.
Kuroyami then looked, agreeing with him.
"You 2 may go and rest now, you've worked hard today." The leader spoke as the two of them nodded, disappearing in an instant.
WITH AKAMI AND KUROYAMI.
"Hey, Kuroyami.." Akami looked.
"What..?" Kuroyami replied, staring at him.
"How do you feel about the Kurakami clan." Akami started thinking heavily, starting to break into a nervous sweat.
"They have a book that I need. That's all." Kuroyami spoke.
"The way the leader looked at Kaizen..It was scary..He may be in the wrong hands."
"Now, Akami, you don't wanna rush..Give it..2 years. In that time, you can hone your skills."
Akami then sighed. "I'm going to find someone I trust. Catch ya later." He said as he walked away, sheathing his sword.
Kuroyami looked. "Akami..you wish to go forward with this..?"
Akami rotated his head, staring back at him. "If you think I see a look like that and believe nothing bad is going to happen, I'll kill you next." He said as he left the room.
Kuroyami looked, smiling menacingly. "THANK YOU, AKAMI!!!" His grin was wide from both cheeks.
Hours after Akami had left, he roamed outside of Kizami City, meeting a family friend.
"Akami..! I wasn't expecting you here..!" The mother spoke.
"Shouldn't you be getting sleep..?" She rubbed her eyes a little.
Akami looked. "Sorry for my intrusion..but I had to come here.."
The mother looked, bringing him in. "It's raining outside…you must be sick…" She said as she sat in her house. It was a very modest house, nothing looking too expensive.
Akami sat down, feeling pain on his joints from his mission. "I'm so sorry…but I have to do it…"
"Do..what..?" The mother spoke nervously. "What do you mean, Akami?!"
"I have to kill the Kurakami clan…they're going to abuse Kaizen..every single one of them..Following under the leader makes you just as bad, right?!"
"But you also work under him, and you've killed a bunch of people..! You're not any better than they are!!" The mother spoke.
Akami sighed. "You're not wrong..but I have a plan..Over the course of 2 years.."
The mother heard the whole plan, looking in complete shock.
"And you'd do all that..for the child.." She said as she looked over at her sleeping child.
"I'll agree with it. On one occasion."
"Kaizen will be raised under the name of Hiro. and will be here with me and Kaomi."
Akami nodded. "Thank you. I'll see you..in 2 years.." He said as he turned around, walking back out into the rain.
"Stay..safe..Akami.." It was too late for her to finish her words as he had already disappeared.
2 YEARS LATER.
The world had plunged into complete chaos, the scandals between the Syndicate and the Kurakami clan at their true heat. Everything had gone to hell, riots, protests, the city was on fire. The true meaning of Kizami City had wilted, expired, rotten.
A boy stood upon the bustling city life with his cloak and his hood.
"Now is the time for the plan. He should already be down there, getting ready." He said as he glided down, staring at the clan head in the flesh.
The clan head stared at Kuroyami. "Are you aware of who this is.."
Kuroyami smiled. "No, but you are." He said as a blade suddenly struck him in the chest, leaving him on the ground.
Kuroyami looked at the rest, holding his blades, assassinating half of them. The boy quickly ran, jumping and slashing one in the leg, disabling them.
"You..SINNER..!!" were the last words spoken of the man before he dropped to the ground, completely immobilized, waiting for his death.
The boy looked back with his dark red eyes, running into the caves as he started assassinating more soldiers with a more gentle feeling, simply slicing their necks, using his agility to get to Kaizen.
Above, Kuroyami had killed all the ones he needed to, and he was close to reaching his goal.
He jumped, cracking glass with his blades, trying to find the forbidden book, looking at all of the security.
"So you're the ones in charge of this book." He said as he was suddenly blasted by elemental energy, sent flying back.
"What was that..energy…Kaizen's prophecy..?" He felt his chest as he started glowing, his skin starting to rot and decay, a dark energy blast flying out from his body, blasting directly at the 4 as he quickly jumped back in, handling them all, ending them all.
Back on the underground, Akami had found Kaizen, looking, feeling an everlasting sense of desperation. The need to save. His eyes started glowing even brighter as he looked at his fist glowing with energy, slamming it, destroying the rocks, revealing him Kaizen's inner body.
Akami looked in complete shock, barely being able to walk, trying his hardest to reach Kaizen, stretching beyond how far his body could stretch, finally grabbing Kaizen's body, looking at the exit at the back of the room, seeing the amount of chains everywhere.
"I'm so sorry, Kaizen..I will make sure they all pay.." Akami said with anger as his eyes started glowing red, his body suddenly creating a beam right above the both of them, sending them both into the sky.
"I'LL SEE YOU LATER, KUROYAMI!!" He shouted as he suddenly disappeared into a red light.
Kuroyami looked up, not caring at all, allowing his mutation to take over his body, laughing as he sealed himself underground, hiding in a cocoon.
Akami had continued to run with the baby through a bridge, getting chased by the Syndicate now, sighing with boredom.
"Out of all the times, it's when a rescue mission is most important..They couldn't do this when I was training.." He said as he looked as a rocket nearly exploded in his face, crashing into the glass, disappearing to the woman's house, landing on the couch with Kaizen.
The mother quickly jumped out of fear. "You decided to do it midday?"
Akami looked. "Sorrryyyy…but I couldn't wait."
"I'll get them all away from here..keep Hiro here." He said as he held Kaizen down.
The mother looked. "I'll just call him Kaizen instead..he seems the type to have that name." She said as she looked at his body emanating a powerful presence around the house, protecting it.
Akami looked, smiling at Kaizen and running out immediately, vanishing without a trace.
Kaizen's eyes slowly opened, his age starting to shift as he slowly dropped on the ground, forcing his legs to adapt instantly, having to adapt to running, the mother trying to block the door, but him being able to phase through it, running after Akami, realizing that the clouds darkened and it started to rain.
E[
The mother looked in fear. "He's going to see something he's not meant to see..No.."
Akami quickly ran to the outskirts of the city, managing to defeat all the Syndicate members before landing in the mountainous areas. He looked around, continuing to run, moving even faster now.
A blade came flying directly at Akami's face, dodging it by a second, looking to see who caused it.
"YOU MISSED ME!!" The clan head's son, Rui Kurakami had appeared, his presence striking fear into Akami.
"Those were meant to be my words…let's settle this now." He said as he got up, his mystical aura flowing as he ran at him, unsheathing his blade as they both clashed swords, Rui quickly bending down, ending the clash, about to slash his stomach open but Akami managed to dodge it.
Akami smirked as he took off his hood, dashing to Rui again, dropkicking him before punching him multiple times, Rui unable to find a way to counter it, panicking before he quickly pushed his body up, repelling Akami into a boulder.
"You're going to pay for what you did, Akami..I don't care." Rui looked as he picked up his blade once again, smiling evilly as he was about to plunge the blade into Akami's face, but a barrier was suddenly put up.
"You tried..and you failed." Kaizen had suddenly appeared on top, his eyes flashing rainbow as he jumped into the barrier, suddenly vanishing, Rui getting sent across the battlefield.
Kaizen looked back, releasing the barrier. "Your fate is delayed." He said as he suddenly dashed to Rui at jet speeds, his body aint being able to hold up with it, headbutting Rui, releasing a presence powerful enough to send him flying again.
Rui suddenly looked. "I ALWAYS KNEW YOU WERE A MUTANT! YOU FREAK! INHUMAN!!"
Akami quickly got up, running to Rui, about to end him in a single slash.
"I'LL KILL YOU, RUI KURAKAMI!!" He said as his aura started flaring, about to go in for the kill, Kaizen suddenly slowing down.
"NO!! STOP!!"
Rui smiled. "I've got you now." He said as a arm of shadows formed behind him as he spun around, slicing Akami in the chest, Kaizen creating a barrier, sending him flying back as he quickly kicked Rui, turning around and dashing back to Akami.
Kaizen looked. "Brother! You okay?" He hadn't really adapted to speech yet, but he managed to adapt to everything else when it came to his powers.
Akami smiled. "I'm okay..Kaizen..Just..don't worry about me.." He spat out blood, Kaizen looking at him, feeling some kind of overwhelming rage, Rui finding the strength to walk.
Akami looked, holding Kaizen's shoulder. "Promise me, you'll get stronger..?"
"Akami…"
Akami looked at his own scarf, passing it onto Kaizen. "When you hold this scarf, you hold my power..you hold everything of me…." He said as he got up, taking out his blade once again.
"Akami, YOU MUST ATONE FOR YOUR SINS.." Rui smiled as they both started running at each other.
"It doesn't matter what I do. I killed people. But what matters now..is nothing." He said as he ran to Rui, as they did one final clash.
"It's raining, isn't it..I love the rain…" Akami spoke as he slowly dropped on the floor, dead.
Kaizen looked at the sight he had witnessed, feeling the scarf's power starting to fuel him.
"I'll end you." He said seriously, striking fear into Rui.
Kaizen's energy started overflowing, his hair turning black as his eyes started sparking.
"You..die." Kaizen looked at his enemy, dashing at Rui, slashing him in the chest, grabbing his face.
"Zero!" He said as he suddenly launched a point blank blast right in his face, sending him flying back, his face incinerated.
Kaizen looked at Akami's body, hugging it as tears fell down his face. "YOU'LL ALL DIE!" He said as his aura started enveloping the entire city, forcing gravity on all of them, his energy starting to choke them all as he felt a hug behind him, his body suddenly feeling a sense of peace, slowly decreasing his aura.
Kaizen looked back. "You."
The mother suddenly appeared with her daughter. "Oh my goodness..He's…"
She stared at Kaizen's teary eyes, feeling sympathy for his situation.
Kaizen looked at his soul, placing it into the scarf as he absorbed the body into energy.
Kaizen stood up, looking at the 2 of them. "I'll kill Syndicate…" He looked as his energy suddenly started flowing out of his body, being more weaker and restricted.
Years passed in silence, but the echoes of Kaizen's victory over Rui Kurakami continued to reverberate through the decaying world. The Kurakami clan, once a force that bent others to its will, crumbled like sand slipping through the fingers of time. Their legacy—like all things bound by fate—was destined to fall. In contrast, the Syndicate, once hidden in the shadows, rose from the cracks of Kizami City, feeding on its ruins like vultures feasting on a carcass.
Kizami itself was now a city of ghosts. The streets, once full of life, were swallowed by the weight of forgotten battles. The buildings, now hollow shells, whispered tales of lives lost to time's cruel hands. Where hope once thrived, only ashes and regret remained—a city bound to a fate that no one could escape.
Kaizen, too, was shaped by this fate. Isolated in the outskirts, far from the wreckage of his youth, he mastered the powers that once consumed him. Every day, he trained, bending his will against the force of the World Eater within him, a power that symbolized the hunger of fate itself—an insatiable force that devoured all things, leaving nothing but echoes. In mastering this power, Kaizen did not seek to escape his destiny but to rewrite it. He became not just a warrior but a defier of the threads that tried to bind him.
Kaizen woke up in a dusty room, looking at the food on the empty doorstep, taking it in.
"They did this for me.." He looked as he started eating, feeling a powerful presence nearby.
"Is that..the city.." He stared outside of the door, rolling his eyes as he continued eating.
"The world never needed me anyways. If there was somebody that cared.." He started thinking about Kaomi.
Akami stared as a shadow on the wall. "If you continue to linger..people will die. You know how bad Kizami City has gotten already..you'll just make it worse, Zen.."
Kaizen stared at Akami's shadow through the wall. "Fine..!" He said as he put on his cloak and hood.
"I shouldn't have to do this, you know..I'm just a kid at heart.." Kaizen looked as he sighed.
Akami looked. "I know…and I'm so sorry for not being able to do anything.." He spoke as he slowly disappeared back into the shadows.
Kaizen quickly ran out of his house, zooming into the sky.
In Kizami City, there were brutal attacks from fire soldiers, terrorizing buildings and estates alike until they got what they wanted - Kaizen's appearance. In her house, the mother and Kaomi both looked at each other in fear, knowing that nobody could contact Kaizen unless they knew where he was directly.
"You're telling me..you gave Kaizen no way to contact us?! AND NO WAY FOR US TO CONTACT HIM?!" Kaomi shouted in fear.
"I didn't think at the moment..! The food was what he needed most..! Anyways, he's strong enough!"
Kaomi's eyes started glistening scarlet. "I don't think you UNDERSTAND HOW SERIOUS THIS IS!!" She said as her hair started flowing up, her mother starting to feel fear.
"He's done it to you, hasn't he…That damn.." The mother looked at her in annoyance, grabbing a knife and nearly throwing it at Kaomi, her body trying to restrict itself, Kaomi looking in complete fear.
But there was a knock at the door.
"Delivery!!" It seemed to be a kind woman at the door! How splendid!
Kaomi and her mother both stared at the door, waiting.
"We both know." They both nodded at each other, not even saying anything, but slowly moving away from the door.
"Where is Kaizen…when we need him…" She spoke, scared.
"Stop thinking about him when we could die..!!" The mother looked angrily.
But suddenly, the door bursted open, a Syndicate member suddenly flying in, stepping onto the glass on the other side, looking at the both of them, about to kill the both of them in one sitting, but Kaomi's powers suddenly bursted, awakening in that moment, slamming the member to the ground as the mother quickly ran outside of the house, Kaomi quickly jumping back and shutting the door, looking at the 5 suddenly springing from the sky.
"KAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNN!!!" She screamed, her voice echoing throughout the entire city, the entire sky thundering with a white thunder, the Syndicate members blood shedding everywhere.
Kaomi and her mother looked around the place, deciding to run.
The Syndicate from before exploded the door open, about to launch a wave of fire, but was quickly stopped by a barrier.
A lightning bolt quickly crashed down from the sky, sparks still remaining as the fight had begun.
"If you hurt the one I care about..I'll kill you next." The lightning bolt spoke as it teleported to the member, punching the flames away.
The Syndicate suddenly looked, creating wings out of their flames, trying to flap the fire into Kaizen's face, blasting him back to Kaomi.
"If you call out my name…I will listen." He looked back at Kaomi, smiling before focusing on the fight again.
"AKAMI!" He said as his shadow suddenly started climbing around him, taking control of his palm, firing a blast directly at the Syndicate member, paralyzing them for a bit before they quickly dashed at Kaizen, trying to burn him, but he wasn't made of flesh in that moment.
"I'd explain my technique, but then you'd counter it..!" Kaizen smiled as he turned his face into flesh, transforming it into lightning again as he grabbed the Syndicate Member, starting to hold them tight.
"You're not the one I'm facing." He said as he sliced the finger, starting to enter his blood stream with countless amounts of electrons, overcharging his body to the point of it shutting down, effectively killing him on the spot.
Kaizen looked back, turning his hands and torso into lightning, then creating barriers around them so speed was irrelevant to their flesh, running across the city in seconds, jumping up buildings to hopefully escape the rest.
Suddenly, the head of the Syndicate grabbed Kaizen, nullifying his electric limbs, crashing him into a glass building, throwing Kaomi and her mother back, keeping them both safe as he fought.
"Damn..he's stronger than me..but I'll still fight.." He shouted as he flew back, smiling as he crashed out the glass again, descending down the building, falling as his eyes opened, staring at the head.
"So you lead them all..You're the one that's killing me. Maybe?" He smiled as his eyes suddenly rested, his hand moving on it's own as it launched an attack, causing an explosion, Kaizen grabbing their hair.
"It's like a fighter jet.." He said as he started creating pilot controls, looking at helicopters patrolling the city, exploding them by touching their finger, pulling it, laughing a bit as he stood up, levitating in the sky as they went flying into a building.
Kaizen started looking around, sighing as he was about to teleport back, feeling the heat of flames in the building he had left Kaomi. He suddenly teleported, seeing Kaomi held by her throat.
"LET HER GOOOO!!" He said as his energy spiked, stabbing the fire soldier, causing Kaomi to fall out of the building, the mother completely passed out. Kaizen stared as he stopped holding back, punching a hole through the Syndicate member, zooming out of the sky to catch Kaomi.
But it was a bad time. For everything that was about to unfold to happen. As Kaizen flew with her, he healed Kaomi's wounds, looking at all the flames flying towards them.
"It's so hot.." He said as he kept flying into the sky, it starting to bleed red due to all of the ashes flaring and flying.
But now, the leader had returned, this time, with a gun, shooting a bullet into Kaizen, nullifying his abilities entirely, crashing him into another building, leaving him nullified until he could spit the bullet out of his body. He looked back at the head of the Syndicate, trying to make Kaomi run.
"KAOMI, IT'S NOT SAFE! YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!" He shouted, trying to make sure she stayed alive in this desperate moment.
Kaomi quickly ran, dodging a few bullets. "I DID A BIT OF TRAINING MYSELF!" She said before she felt a rise in temperature.
Kaizen quickly stared before jumping in, letting himself suffer a few burns, not caring about what would happen to his body..
"Now, look at what you've done..All I want is you!! Sweet darling boy…" The head said as they ran to Kaizen, about to stab him, but Kaomi quickly blocked the attack.
The bullet had been spat out of his body, Kaizen's energy suddenly returning, the blood starting to exit his body through holes, returning him back to his full power, teleporting infront of Kaomi, punching the head onto the ground before looking at the flames behind him.
"We're completely-"
"No, we aren't." She said as they both looked up.
The head suddenly stared, grabbing the blade and dashing directly at the two of them as the building exploded in an instant.
"DAMN YOU…" The head of the Syndicates looked as they summoned more fire soldiers to kill Kaomi. Originally, it was Kaizen..but you know what they say.
The best way to hurt somebody is to kill somebody they love.
Suddenly, 9 fire soldiers all appeared in a circle, leaving no escape for any of them.
Kaizen looked. "I'm sorry, Kaomi, but I've reached the limit. Save yourself." He said as he started glowing, smiling.
Kaomi looked up a Kaizen glowing, seeming as if time slowed. This couldn't be the end. This is how it ends..?
Kaomi started sobbing, looking as the head of the Syndicates appeared behind her, stabbing her in the back.
She looked back at her killer in anger, using her abilities to break her fingers.
Kaizen exploded, his body falling weak as he landed, seeing Kaomi's stabbed body.
"Kaomi.." He looked in his weakest, his power continuing to pulsate, paining him to even walk, causing him to crawl to her standing body. She barely got up, a tear shedding.
"I'll…kill you…for killing Kaomi…WE'LL DIE TOGETHER..!!" He said as he grabbed his soul, ripping it apart, implanting it into his aura, coating his blade in said aura, having literally no energy left, grabbing Kaomi's arm, holding her as he stabbed the head of the Syndicate, the aura being set.
"I could care less about myself. All that matters..is Kaomi…" Kaizen spoke as he smiled, looking at the blade.
"The time's ticking, head girl."
He smirked as the sword exploded, leaving a hole in Kaizen's body as he held Kaomi, walking through the city.
"I hope..we're together…in our next life, Kaomi…May our fates cross like a star." He said as he continued walking. His legs were operating on their own, but they slowly got tired..He took a step. He took…a step. He took..a…He took..
Kaizen dropped dead on the ground.
Time had suddenly shattered, bringing Ren, Rei and Hana into the world.
"Project Fuhuda begins now, huh." Ren looked.
"Yeah, the thing happened..!" Hana spoke.
Rei held the soul, placing it onto the threads of the timeline as they all saw it flow away.
