Surrounded by darkness…
That's where Y/N found himself. Endless, empty void stretched in every direction—no sound, no light, just pure silence.
Y/N: "Wow. I thought death would be more exciting than this…"
???: "Idiot. You're not dead."
Y/N: "Whoa! Where did that come from?!"
???: "From me."
Y/N: "Huh? But where are you?"
???: "Inside you."
Suddenly, a black, viscous slime began crawling out from Y/N's shoulder. It twisted and shifted, forming into the shape of a monstrous head with sharp, glowing eyes.
???: "Hey there."
Y/N: "Whoa…"
???: "Well, that's a new reaction. I was expecting a 'WAAAHHHHH!!' and then two hours of me trying to calm you down."
Y/N: "I've seen plenty of movies and read enough manga. Not that surprising, actually. So, what are you exactly?"
???: "I'm one of Umbrella's experiments. The V-Virus—also known as… a symbiote."
Y/N: "Cool!! But, uh, since when have you been inside me?"
???: "Hahaha, since the very start! You never wondered how you could resist infection, or heal your wounds after fighting all those monsters? That was me!"
Y/N: "Wow…"
???: "Pretty impressive, huh? I can't lie—you got my attention throughout this journey. You're different from my previous hosts."
Y/N: "Well, thanks for that—and for saving my life. Without you, I'd be dead back when I fought Nemesis."
???: "Don't thank me too much. I was just protecting myself. If you die, I die."
Suddenly, the darkness around them began to tremble.
Y/N: "Whoa! What's happening?!"
???: "Danger… is close. You should wake up now—your friends need you. Remember, I'm always with you."
Y/N: "Wait! What should I call you??"
???: "I've had many names—Experiment, V-Virus… but you can call me… Venom."

The Wreckage
Y/N's eyes shot open. He coughed, blinking through the smoke and flames. The twisted wreck of the train surrounded him.
Y/N: groans "...And here I thought this was the end…"
Venom: "Definitely not the perfect train to catch."
Y/N turned his head and saw Jill lying unconscious nearby.
Y/N: "Jill!"
He stumbled over to her and knelt beside her.
Y/N: "Hey! Come on, wake up!"
Jill groaned softly, her eyes fluttering open.
Jill: "Ugh… Y/N?"
Y/N: "I don't think it's the right time for a nap."
Jill sat up slowly, using him for balance. She looked around at the burning wreckage.
Jill: "Are we the only ones who made it…?"
Y/N: "I hope not. The others might've been thrown in different directions."
Jill: "Let's hope so. Let's move—Nemesis probably isn't down for the count."
They climbed out of the wreckage. Jill found a crate and pried it open, revealing a six-chambered grenade launcher.
Y/N: pulling out his radio "Kai, are you there? Leon? Claire? Sherry? Carlos? Anyone, do you copy?"
Only static answered.
Y/N: "Damn it… guess we're out of range."
Jill: "Or their radios got destroyed in the crash." She slings the grenade launcher onto her back. "Come on. Let's go."
Y/N: "Right."
They pushed forward through the tunnels, clearing a few scattered zombies before finding a set of stairs leading up.
Jill: "Do you think the others are still okay?"
Y/N: "Of course! The Resident Evil team is unbeatable!"
Jill giggled softly.
Y/N: "We're just separated again. But… I've got a bad feeling something's coming for them."
As they reached the top of the stairs—
Jill: "Don't worry, I'm sure they're—"
A familiar roar echoed through the air.
Y/N: "Oh, you've got to be kidding me."
Jill: "We can't stay here!"
She grabbed Y/N's hand, pulling him toward the bridge. Behind them, Nemesis—now burning—screamed in rage as it crashed into the water.
Venom: "Ha! Bitch can't even swim!"
Jill pulled out her radio again.
Jill: "Carlos! The train's gone! We're alive, but the civilians are dead—Mikhail's gone. Nicholai… he left us to die."
Carlos: "Wait, what?!"
Before she could respond, both of them noticed movement in the river.
Jill: "What the hell…?"
Y/N: "M-maybe our eyes are just messed up…?"
Venom: "Partner, I don't even have eyes, and I'm telling you—something's FUCKING MOVING!!"
Suddenly, Nemesis erupted from the water, larger and more horrifying than before—mutated claws, twisted flesh, a feral roar.
Y/N: "HOLY POTATOES!!!"
Jill: "It's back!!"
She grabbed his hand again, running for cover as Nemesis climbed onto the bridge after them. They shoved construction materials into its path, but it smashed through everything.
They leapt from the bridge to the ground below—but Nemesis was already there, landing with a deafening crash.
Y/N: "Oh, come on! As if his first form wasn't scary enough!"
He dropped into a fighting stance.
Jill: "Good thing I grabbed this…" she loaded her grenade launcher
Y/N's arms began to shift—black veins crawling down his skin until they formed sleek, armored gloves of symbiotic matter.
Y/N: "Whoa!"
Venom: "A little support, partner. Now—beat his ass!"
Y/N: "You're the best!"
Y/N charged forward, dodging the monster's claws and landing a Shoryuken-like uppercut that sent a purple shockwave crackling through the air. Jill circled around, loading another grenade.
Y/N: "Now! Fire!!"
She didn't hesitate—pulling the trigger, the grenade hit Nemesis square in the chest and exploded, engulfing him in flames.
Jill: "Thing's like an animal."
Y/N: "Looks like it's hunting season~"
Jill: "Let's barbecue this mutt."
Y/N: "Hell yeah."
Purple lightning danced from his fists as they faced the burning creature.
Jill: "Where'd you get that?"
Y/N: "Long story—later."
Nemesis lunged again, but Jill fired grenades while Y/N pummeled it with lightning-charged punches.
Venom: "Left, right, left, right—now finish it!"
Y/N & Venom (in sync): "GOOD NIGHT!!!"
Nemesis howled, flailing in rage and pain, its skin bubbling from the flames.
Y/N: "Man, I wish we had some help right now!"
Jill: "Just keep it up!"
They pushed harder—grenades, fists, and fury—until finally, Jill aimed the last round.
Jill: "Come on, motherf***er—Suck it!"
She fired. The blast sent Nemesis sprawling onto its back, motionless.
Jill: "And stay dead."
Y/N: "Hell yeah! High five!"
They slapped palms, laughing breathlessly.
Jill tried the radio again.
Jill: "Carlos? Carlos, come on, are you there?"
Silence.
Jill: "Ugh, you've got to be kidding me… now's not the time to crap out on us!"
Y/N: "He's probably busy. Come on—we can't stay here."
They crossed toward a large medieval-looking gate, stepping over Nemesis's burned arm—
Suddenly, it twitched. The monster surged up, grabbing Y/N's leg and yanking him backward.
Y/N: "Let me go, let me go, LET ME GO!!"
Jill: "Y/N!!!"
She fired at the chains above the gate—
The gate crashed down, severing Nemesis's arm and freeing Y/N.
Y/N: panting "Nice shot."
Jill: "Thanks. Now let's—"
Nemesis roared again, a new tentacle forming from its wound. It lashed forward, stabbing Jill through the shoulder.
Both of them froze in shock. Jill gasped, ripping the tentacle free before collapsing.
Jill: "Oh… shit…" falls to the ground
Y/N: "Jill!!"
He rushed to her side. She was struggling to breathe.
Y/N: "No, no, no! Come on, Jill! Don't you die on me!"
Jill: coughing "Y/N… that… thing's tentacle… it's got the virus… it's already in my bloodstream…" passes out
Y/N: "No! You're not turning into one of them! Venom—do something!"
Venom: "I can only heal my host, partner! I can't even leave your body!"
Y/N: "Shit, shit, shit!!"
Then a cold, mocking voice came from behind the gate.
Nicholai: "Interesting. You and Miss Valentine have done me quite a favor."
Y/N: "NICHOLAI!!!"
He sprang up and slammed his symbiotic arm through the gate—but it stopped just inches from Nicholai's smug face.
The soldier smirked.
Nicholai: "So I was right—the V-Virus experiment is within you. I suspected as much from your strength and regeneration. Impressive."
Y/N: "I swear to the God who raised the seven skies—I'M GONNA CATCH YOU, AND YOU'RE GONNA PAY!!"
Nicholai: "We'll see about that."
He stepped back into the shadows and disappeared.
Y/N stood there, shaking with fury—but when he looked back down at Jill, pale and barely breathing, his rage melted into fear.
He knelt beside her, clutching her hand tightly.
Y/N: "Hold on, Jill… I'm not losing you too."
