Leon kept exploring the underground area, encountering some zombies along the way — though there weren't too many.
Leon: "Where are you, Ada?"
He muttered to himself, distracted for a moment. Suddenly, a zombie appeared from the darkness behind him, ready to bite — but a gunshot came from nowhere, dropping the zombie instantly.
Leon turned toward the source of the shot and saw Ada.
Leon: "I was just looking for you."
Ada: "Really? Let me guess — the escape mission didn't go so well?"
Leon: "Well, not hard to notice. But we've got a problem. Jill got infected by Nemesis, and we're looking for the cure. Got any ideas?"
Ada: "Hmm… if anyone has the cure, it'll be Dr. Annette. Want to join me in finding her?"
Leon: "Sure. The others will follow soon anyway, so it's no problem."
They started moving again. They reached an elevator, stepped in, and it began to slowly descend.
Ada: "Is… Y/N alright?"
Leon: "Well, I didn't see him after the train accident, but I know he fought Nemesis again. That's when Jill got infected. He carried her to the hospital with Carlos."
Ada: "Hm. Lucky her…"
Leon: "Huh? Did you say something?"
Ada: "Nope, just thinking."
Leon looked at her for a moment, then smirked.
Leon: "Oh ho~ look who's got a cru."
Ada: "W-what are you talking about!?"
Leon: "Don't play dumb. It's Y/N, right?" He said teasingly.
Ada: "Hmm~ was it that obvious?"
Leon: "Ha! I knew it! So what exactly do you like about him?"
Ada blushed and twirled a lock of hair around her finger.
Ada: "Well… he's kinda cute. So innocent and pure — and he just wants to help. It's rare to find someone like that these days."
Leon: "Well, I can't say you're wrong. I haven't spent much time with Y/N, but I can confirm everything you said is true."
Ada: "Enough about that. We have a mission to focus on. We'll talk later."
The elevator came to a stop. They stepped out and entered a small hall where a woman in a scientist's coat was examining a zombie corpse.
Annette: "Definitely William's handiwork."
Leon: "Annette?" He raised his pistol, aiming at her.
She turned her attention to the duo.
Ada: "Annette Birkin."
Leon: "So it is her."
Annette: "Not much time. Need to dispose of it." She stood up.
Ada: "We're here for the G-Virus."
Annette: "That's not going to happen."
Ada: "I'm warning you, Doctor."
Annette: "Oh yeah?"
She lit the zombie on fire and began to run.
Leon: "Stop!"
Ada: "After her!"
She chased after Annette.
Leon: "Ada, wait!" He shouted, following her.
Bullets suddenly whizzed toward them — Ada ducked, but Leon tackled her out of the way, taking one of the bullets himself.
Leon: "Gah! Okay, that hurts…"
Annette escaped, sealing the door behind her.
Ada: "Didn't expect that from a scientist…"
She looked at Leon, who was bleeding heavily.
Ada: "Leon!"
Leon: "Don't worry about me… Go after her before she gets away. I'll be—"
He collapsed from blood loss.
Ada: "Leon! You're not going to die on me."

Time Skip
Ada disinfected the wound, removed the bullet, and wrapped it tightly with bandages. She took off her coat and covered Leon with it. After making sure he was stable, she stood.
She picked up her walkie-talkie.
Ada: "I'm right outside the facility, in pursuit of Annette."
She listened for a moment.
Ada: "If it's not on her, it must be in the NEST."
After another pause:
Ada: "Once it's in hand, I'll call for extraction."
She looked back at Leon one last time.
Ada: "Don't die, Leon. I owe you."
Then she resumed her pursuit.
Ada: "You can run, Annette, but you can't hide."

Back to Y/N and the Group
Y/N was leaning back in his chair, an arm over his eyes as he slept. Dante sat on the floor against the wall, eyes closed but still awake, while Bayonetta leaned on his shoulder, asleep.
Carlos quietly cleaned his rifle, while Sherry slept on Claire's lap. Claire stared out the window at the empty street. Kai sat nearby, cleaning his knives after dealing with a few zombies that broke in earlier.
Suddenly, the door burst open — everyone aimed their weapons, only to see Tyrell standing there.
Tyrell: "Oh, hey."
Carlos: "Tyrell!!"
Dante: "Can't anyone here knock first!?"
Y/N yawned, waking up.
Y/N: "Eh… I was having a bad nightmare."
Kai: "About zombies?"
Y/N: "Uhhh…"

The Nightmare
Y/N was running through a maze of endless yellow walls — like something straight out of the Backrooms — while something chased him.
Goku in drip.
Y/N: "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Y/N: "You know what? I don't remember."
Tyrell: "Guys, you have to see this!"
He grabbed the TV remote and turned it on. A nuclear warning filled the screen — the news repeated that the city would be nuked at sunrise… today.
Bayonetta: "You've got to be kidding me…"
Y/N stood, staring at the screen for a few seconds.
Y/N: "…Shit."
Carlos: "What are we gonna do!?"
Dante: "We should get out of the city!"
Kai: "But Ada and Leon are still out there! And some civilians too."
Bayonetta: "There are only three hours until sunrise. That's not enough time to get out."
Y/N: "Tyrell, can you contact them or send a message?"
Tyrell: "Yeah, what do you want me to say?"
Y/N: "Tell them Umbrella must have extra cure samples in their underground lab — we already have one."
Tyrell: "Got it."
He set up his laptop on a nearby table and began typing.
Y/N: "Kai, Dante, Carlos — you're coming with me to find Ada and Leon. Bayonetta, stay here with Claire and Sherry. Protect Jill and follow after us once she wakes up."
Everyone stared at him silently for a moment, surprised.
Y/N: "Huh? What?"
Bayonetta: "…"
Claire: "Wow…"
Kai: "Who the hell are you!?"
Dante: "…Since when do you have a brain?"
Carlos: "Well, if Y/N can come up with a good plan, maybe there's still hope for me to get some bitches…"
Y/N: "OH, COME ON!!"
The group of men prepared to leave. Y/N checked Jill one last time — her temperature was normal again, which made him sigh in relief.
Claire handed Kai her personal pistol.
Claire: "My brother gave me this. It's got the Redfield luck."
Kai: "Ha! Good thing the Redfield spirit's with me."
Bayonetta hugged Dante tightly.
Bayonetta: "Stay safe, darling. And don't do anything stupid. I want to tell you something once this is over."
Dante: "Don't worry, I'll be fine. I've been through worse!"
Bayonetta: "Let me guess… paperwork?"
Dante: "Don't underestimate the power of paperwork!!"
Bayonetta: "Yeah, yeah — very scary."
Carlos and Tyrell watched from the doorway.
Tyrell: "Damn…"
Carlos: "How long are we gonna stay bitcheless…?"
The men left through the double doors, taking the same route Leon had used earlier.

With Ada
Ada reached the other side of the vent and overloaded the fan. She dropped down, landing in front of a zombie. With one clean shot, she put it down.
An electronic lock blocked her path, but she easily hacked it open and stepped inside. The area was filled with containers and heavy machinery.
She found a small elevator, but it had no power. Ada began searching for the generator, avoiding zombies along the way to save ammo. When she found it, she hacked it, restoring power to the lift.
She returned, dodging a few zombies, and took the elevator up.
From the upper floor, she spotted Annette on the other side of a glass wall.
Ada: "There you are."
Annette slipped away again, the door closing behind her.
Ada: "You were always good at running, I'll give you that."
She entered the hall Annette had used — but the elevator behind her started moving back up. Ada turned just in time to see Mr. X step out.
Ada: "What the hell!? How did he get here!?"
She sprinted toward the next door and hacked it open, slipping through. Another large fan blocked the next passage, but she overloaded it while Mr. X was closing in fast.
The fan finally exploded, and Ada squeezed through, escaping — though a sharp fragment cut her leg.
Ada: "Gah! Damn it… At least it didn't ruin my dress."
She entered a furnace room. Inside, she found a corpse clutching a wristband. She took it, knowing it might help — but the furnace doors slammed shut.
On the other side stood Annette.
Ada: "Bravo. Gonna burn me alive now?"
Annette: "You'll never get your filthy hands on G."
Ada: "I'm not the only one after it — you realize that?"
Annette: "Then you won't die alone."
She started the furnace. Ada frantically overloaded the locks and, just in time, burst out of the furnace, gasping.
Ada: "That bitch knows what she's doing."
Using the wristband, she opened the next door.
Computer: "Visitor clearance confirmed. Your ID is authorized until October 1st."
Ada: "Yeah, right."
She entered a large sewage pool room with a metal bridge. As she crossed, a bright light flared — Annette stood in a control room above.
Ada: "Enough with this cat-and-mouse game."
Annette: "Don't worry — the game's already over. You've lost."
Ada: "Tell me, is your husband still alive? Or did you kill him to take credit for G?"
Annette: "Interesting theory."
She pulled a lever, activating a massive mechanical arm that began swinging toward Ada.
Ada: "If you don't cooperate, I'll get a sample from the NEST!"
Annette: "Over my dead body!"
Ada dodged as the machine slammed toward her, but the platform gave way. She fell, hitting the ground near the water — a sharp iron bar piercing her leg.
Ada: "Where's Y/N when I need him…?"
Something stirred in the water — a hulking G-mutant emerged.
Ada: "Oh great, another ugly thing!"
The creature raised its massive claw to crush her — but something landed on its back, stopping it.
Y/N: "Ha! Miss me!?"
Ada: "Y/N!?"
Behind him, Dante, Carlos, Kai, and Leon appeared, opening fire.
Dante: "How many types of these things are there!?"
Kai: "Just keep shooting!!"
Y/N's fist glowed with crackling purple electricity as he charged it up.
Y/N: "Take THIS!!!"
He punched the creature's head with all his strength, obliterating it in one blow. The monster's corpse collapsed into the water.
Half-covered in blood, Y/N turned with a grin.
Y/N: "Now that's cool!"
He looked at Ada.
Y/N: "Now I saved your ass!"
Ada smiled faintly.
Ada: "Guess that makes it two to one."
The rest hurried over to her — Leon included.
Ada: "Looks like you're not dead yet. Good — I would've felt bad for a second."
Leon: "Haha, thanks to you."
Y/N: "Ada, you're hurt."
He knelt beside her, but she tried to stop him.
Ada: "I'm fine, it's just—"
Y/N: "No, you're not. Now hush and let me see."
She sighed and gave in as he carefully removed the sharp metal piece.
Ada bit her lower lip when he pulled it out, letting out a small moan.
Everyone froze for a moment.
Ada: "J-just get it over with!"
Y/N tore a strip from his shirt and wrapped it tightly around her leg.
Then Carlos's radio crackled — it was Tyrell.
Tyrell: "Hey, Carl, we've got a problem."
Carlos: "Gah! You never call with good news, huh?"
Tyrell: "The army says if we deliver the cure before they launch the nuke, they'll abort the strike."
Dante: "You're f*cking kidding me…"
Ada: "There should be more cure samples in Umbrella's underground lab."
Tyrell: "I'll try to buy you more time. Oh — looks like the super-cop girl's waking up. We'll follow soon."
Carlos: "Perfect. Take care."
Kai: "Alright then — we move, now."
