Zara's eyes widened. "Evidence?" she asked, pulling Vivian into the house.
"What evidence are you talking about?"
She guided her to the sofa, sitting across from her, alert.
"You remember how I told you I used to babysit during my college days?" Vivian asked, voice cautious.
Zara nodded. "Yeah."
"Mr. Hall was one of my clients. And I recently got invited to their second baby's naming ceremony," Vivian explained. "It was actually a paid invite. They needed me to take care of their oldest child."
Zara leaned in, brows raised. "So? What did you find?"
Vivian glanced down at her hands, fiddling with her phone. "Well… the boy was playful and grabbed a file from his dad's study. He started doodling on it. That's when I saw it…"
Before she could finish, the doorbell rang.
Zara jumped up. "That must be Nadia. Let me get her."
She hurried to the door.
