As Marylin cast her magic, a faint red glow seemed to envelop her entire being, shining the strongest by her palms.
As it was nighttime inside the tower, only the faint white light from the moon and the campfire Evelynn passed on her way to Jasper's tent had previously lit up their surroundings.
But now, with the addition of Marilyn's magic, the glow from her body and the burning tent, their surroundings were eerily tinted in red.
The light from the moon was so faint that if it hadn't been for the fires, Evelynn would have struggled to see Marylin in the shadows between the tents.
