Entering the tent together with Marilyn, Evelynn remained still until she was certain Marilyn was truly asleep.
After waiting a bit longer and hearing the faint snoring from Jasper's tent beside them, she let Dandelion go check just to make sure he was really asleep.
As Dandelion came back and confirmed that Jasper was truly asleep, Evelynn quietly left the tent.
Seeing Joseph looking in her direction she gave him a slight nod as she approached.
After telling him she just needed to use the bathroom and politely declining his offer to 'follow her in case of monsters', Evelynn went into the forest, leaving the camp.
Walking in the darkness, with only the faint sounds of her footsteps to accompany her, Evelynn hugged Dandelion.
"We'll get revenge now," she quietly whispered to her small companion. Dandelion didn't respond, but she could feel its excitement for battle.
