By the time the Manchester City squad arrived back in Manchester, Richard was already in Venice, Italy, with his brother, Harry.
For Richard, football was usually at the center of his schedule, but today was different. No immediate Manchester City business demanding his attention. Instead, today's agenda belonged to Maddox Entertainment.
After all, it was Maddox Entertainment's first major step beyond the music industry and into Hollywood's film business. As the CEO of Maddox Entertainment and Creation Records, Harry naturally received more than one invitation to attend the premiere of Titanic.
Yes, that Titanic.
Even Richard was surprised to discover that Harry had also invested in the film.
"I'm glad you could make it," Harry said, genuinely surprised when he found Richard sitting there, casually sipping orange juice. "I thought you were going to turn me down again, just like you did with my previous invitations."
