Chapter 515 - Chapter 515: Farewell

Naruto originally wanted to relax and take a hot bath, but that dream was shattered.

There was nothing he could do about it—who could possibly resist when Hinata acted like this?

Naruto looked at her, eyes filled with both complaint and passion.

"Hinata, you really are…"

Before entering the bathroom, Naruto cut off contact with Kurama. At this moment, he had no way to escape Hinata's teasing right in front of him.

Naruto grabbed Hinata's hand and pulled her into his arms.

Obviously, this bath was going to be taken in a very different way.

Almost twenty minutes later, the two emerged from the bathroom.

"Hinata, sleep," Naruto said softly.

Hinata nodded with satisfaction, held Naruto's hand, and murmured in her gentle tone, "Yeah."

The Next Morning

Sunlight streamed in through the window, bright and warm.

Naruto stood up and looked at Hinata still sleeping beside him. Smiling softly, he leaned forward and kissed her forehead before getting up to wash up.

Last night, after the battle and before going to bed, Naruto had reconnected with Kurama. The Nine-Tails' chakra continuously nourished his body and mind, and when morning came, he felt more energized than ever.

"Kurama, thanks a lot," Naruto said inwardly as he looked at his reflection in the mirror.

Inside the Mindscape

Kurama snorted coldly, clearly unimpressed by Naruto's gratitude.

It was the same every time—after exhausting himself, he came begging for chakra to recover.

To be fair, Kurama understood the bond he shared with Naruto. But what he couldn't understand was why Naruto and Hinata were always so… active.

The fox muttered to himself, I'll never understand humans.

Back in the real world, Naruto finished brushing his teeth, got dressed, and headed to the kitchen. Breakfast had to be made for Hinata.

While frying eggs, he heard soft footsteps behind him. Hinata had just woken up, stretched, and made her way toward the bathroom. After freshening up, she saw Naruto busy cooking.

Naruto turned around with a grin. "You're up?"

Hinata hummed in response.

"Go wash up properly," Naruto said. "Breakfast will be ready soon."

Hinata nodded with a sleepy smile and disappeared into the bathroom.

Naruto quickened his pace, finishing the omelette and moving on to the ramen.

Konoha's ramen came in two types—instant cup ramen and handmade ramen. In the past, when Naruto was poor and always in a rush, instant ramen was his only option. But now, he preferred making it by hand; it tasted better and reminded him of his journey.

He boiled the water, added the noodles, and stirred in the seasoning packet. After three minutes, he added the omelette, let it simmer for another minute, then turned off the stove.

Breakfast was ready.

Just as he plated the food, Hinata came out of the bathroom, her hair tied up neatly.

"Hinata, come eat!" Naruto called.

She smiled at the sight of him and said brightly, "Wow, it smells amazing!"

Naruto chuckled. "Of course. This is my favorite ramen flavor. Come on, try it!"

Hinata clasped her hands together. "Itadakimasu!"

Naruto grinned and joined her.

The two slurped their ramen happily, steam rising between them, laughter soft and warm.

When they finished, Hinata offered to clean up. Naruto nodded. "Okay, you handle that. I'm going to find Jiraiya-sensei—need to talk about… marriage arrangements."

Hinata's cheeks flushed slightly. "Alright, Naruto. Go ahead."

Before leaving, Naruto leaned down and kissed her lightly, then turned and closed the door behind him.

Farewell

As Naruto walked through the streets of Konoha, he turned a corner—and there stood a familiar figure.

"Huh? Toneri! I thought you were staying at the inn. What are you doing here? Do you need something from me?"

Toneri nodded. "Yes, Naruto."

Naruto smiled. "Is it about returning to the moon?"

Toneri nodded again. "Yes. I'm going back to the moon. Thank you for your hospitality during my stay in Konoha. I've seen so much beauty here. Naruto, thank you for letting me witness such a peaceful world. I shudder to think what might have happened if you hadn't stopped me. I might have destroyed everything."

Naruto laughed warmly and patted Toneri on the shoulder. "It's all in the past now. You've seen how amazing this world is. But hey, why only visit Konoha? You should see the other villages too. It'd be a shame not to."

Toneri smiled faintly. "I wanted to, but lately… I've been uneasy. It feels like something is wrong, like something's coming."

Naruto frowned. "Did your Tenseigan sense something?"

Toneri shook his head. "No. I'm too far away to connect with the Tenseigan here. That's why I want to return—to reestablish the link. Only then can I feel safe."

Naruto nodded in understanding. "Alright, Toneri. I won't stop you. Let's send you back to the moon. If you ever want to come back, just call me—I'll bring you myself."

Toneri smiled. "Thank you, Naruto. I will."

Naruto raised his hand and formed a seal. "Toneri, if you notice anything strange, contact me immediately."

Toneri nodded.

A surge of chakra filled the air.

"Flying Thunder God—activate!"

The seal Naruto had placed on Toneri began to glow. In the next instant, Toneri vanished in a flash of golden light.

Far away, on the moon, within the walls of Toneri's castle, another Flying Thunder God seal shimmered to life—and in a heartbeat, Toneri appeared there.

The teleportation over such a massive distance left him slightly dizzy, but he quickly steadied himself.

"I'm finally back," he murmured, gazing at the empty halls of his lunar home.

He moved swiftly through the corridors until he reached the great chamber of the Tenseigan.

There it was—the immense, glowing eye of power.

Toneri stood before it, eyes narrowing as he reconnected with it. The Tenseigan's energy flowed into him instantly, and through it, he could see everything on Earth.

He focused his vision, sweeping across the world, until he found Naruto walking through Konoha's streets.

Perhaps because of the residual power of the Sage of Six Paths within him, Naruto suddenly paused. His brow furrowed as he looked up at the sky.

"What is this feeling…?" he muttered. "Feels like someone's watching me."

He thought for a moment, then smirked. "Probably Toneri."

Naruto raised his hand and pointed his middle finger toward the sky with a teasing grin.

On the moon, Toneri saw it through the Tenseigan and couldn't help but smile. "He noticed."

With a quiet chuckle, he closed the connection and let the vision fade away.
