Chapter 330 - Chapter 330 – Tsukuyomi is Lifted

The Ten-Tails and Black Zetsu were completely sealed away.

Sasuke turned to Naruto, his expression calm but curious.

"Naruto… what do we do next?"

Naruto tilted his head back, gazing at the moon hanging in the sky. Then, without a word, he pulled out a specially marked kunai — the inscription reading Ninja Sword. With a sharp flick of his wrist, he hurled it upward, the weapon striking the core of the Chibaku Tensei.

"Send them up," Naruto said firmly, "and seal them on the moon!"

Sasuke gave a short nod, raised both hands, and focused his chakra. With immense force, he propelled the massive sphere of rock and earth upward. The Chibaku Tensei shot into the sky like a blazing cannonball, crashing into the moon with a deafening BOOM!

The impact echoed through the air.

Naruto's eyes narrowed slightly. I wonder if Toneri up there just got the fright of his life…

Naruto knew Toneri's strength — especially his technique, the Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion. That sword of light had enough power to slice the moon in half. In fact, Naruto believed that same strike might even be able to cleave the Earth itself in two.

Now, with the Ten-Tails and Black Zetsu sealed within the Chibaku Tensei lodged on the moon's surface, Toneri would undoubtedly sense what was inside. That alone might keep him from making reckless moves… but just in case, Naruto decided he'd personally go up there later and reinforce the seal.

He thought back to the events of his previous life — how Ōtsutsuki Urashiki had gone to the moon alone and effortlessly killed Toneri, freezing him in time forever. Ten thousand years of imprisonment in an instant.

Not this time.

In this life, Naruto had every intention of getting Toneri to join his side. One day, he'd find a way to reach the moon and make that happen.

Thanks to the Six Paths, Naruto and Sasuke still retained their Yin and Yang powers permanently in this life — unlike before, when Hagoromo had taken them back. That meant Naruto could now fly whenever he wanted.

Whether by activating his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode and soaring straight into the sky, or by marking the Flying Thunder God kunai and teleporting instantly, reaching the moon was no longer a problem.

"Naruto," Tobirama called as he approached, "all that's left now is to dispel the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Once that's done… this war will finally be over."

Naruto gave a small nod. "Yeah. It should be. Most importantly, we stopped Kaguya from being revived — and that was the key."

Sasuke's gaze narrowed. "Honestly, you didn't have to go to all this trouble. You could have just intervened, gathered all the power, and been done with it."

Naruto studied him for a moment, then smiled faintly. "Why? Do you still want to cling to that same ideology from your past life — to become the hatred of the entire world?"

Sasuke snorted, crossing his arms. "I'm just stating my opinion."

Naruto exhaled slowly. "I get it. That would've been the easy way. But it's not the right way."

He glanced around at the battlefield — countless shinobi suspended in the tree roots of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. His voice dropped.

"Only by letting people experience pain can they truly understand it — feel it — and then, maybe, come together."

Tobirama observed him quietly. Naruto was nothing like his older brother, Hashirama. Sometimes he was a fool, but at other times… he had the quiet, heavy loneliness of a ruler. That solitude, Tobirama realized, made him take this boy far more seriously.

Konoha has really produced a remarkable one this time, Tobirama thought.

Minato stretched his arms with relief. "Well, it's finally over."

The Third Hokage simply smiled, content to watch.

Nearby, Madara lay dying in Hashirama's arms.

Naruto walked over, squatted down beside him, and pressed his palm against Madara's chest, applying a Yang Release Seal.

A deep, rumbling heartbeat echoed in the air.

Madara jolted slightly as his fading chakra surged back to life. His breathing steadied. Confusion flickered in his eyes.

Sasuke stepped forward, his tone sharp. "Naruto! This man deserved to die. Why would you heal him with Yang Release?"

Ignoring Sasuke, Naruto looked Madara straight in the eye. "You're curious about how Black Zetsu deceived you… and even more curious about what's behind him, aren't you?"

Madara's breathing grew heavy. "What are you trying to do?"

Naruto's Rinnegan spun. In an instant, he transmitted everything he had seen — every deception, every manipulation — directly into Madara's mind.

Madara lived those memories as if they were his own, and when they ended, the truth crashed over him like a tidal wave.

"I… was actually… deceived that badly…"

Despair and shame washed across his features. He had thought himself the savior of the world, only to learn he'd nearly destroyed it.

"Hashirama… I was wrong. I really was wrong!" Madara rasped, struggling to press himself into his old friend's embrace.

Hashirama patted him on the back gently. "It's alright, Madara. We just… took the wrong path for the sake of our dream."

Naruto sighed, then turned to Sasuke. "Let's go. It's time to undo the Infinite Tsukuyomi."

Sasuke gave a short, irritated snort but raised one hand. Naruto mirrored the gesture.

Together — just as they had in their previous life — they dispelled the genjutsu.

With a deep rumble, the monstrous tree roots began retracting into the ground. The vine-like bindings lowered countless trapped shinobi back to the earth.

"Obito!"

Rin sprinted forward to catch the falling Uchiha. But his weight carried them both down, and she stumbled to the ground with him.

She quickly checked his breathing. "Obito! Are you alright?"

His eyes opened slightly, and when he saw her, a weak but genuine smile formed on his lips. "Rin…?"

"It's me," she said quickly.

A dreamy look crossed Obito's face. "Then… am I in heaven?"

Tears welled in her eyes. "No… you're still alive."

But Obito didn't seem to hear her. "Rin, I had a dream… I beat Kakashi and became Hokage. Hah… that idiot was so mad. And then… I married you. We had a child…"

Rin smiled faintly through her tears as he spoke.

Minato approached Naruto hesitantly. "Naruto… about Obito—"

Naruto sighed. Yes, Obito had been the man who killed his parents and committed unforgivable acts. But just as before, when Naruto had reached his heart, he'd learned the truth — Obito was as much a victim as he was a villain.

And now, thanks to Naruto removing the seal Black Zetsu had placed on Obito's heart, the man carried the Sun Seal. Death would not come for him yet.

"Dad… he won't die," Naruto said quietly.

Minato let out a breath of relief.

Across the field, Jiraiya had already made his way to Tsunade. "Tsunade!" he shouted, grinning wide.

She met him with a smile — and a fist. One punch later, Jiraiya was on the ground.

"Really? You think I'd let you kiss me with all these people watching?" she scolded.

Flat on his back, Jiraiya groaned. "I survived the war… only to die from your punch…"

"You deserved it," she huffed.

Orochimaru smirked faintly from the sidelines, his gaze drifting to Naruto and Sasuke.

Shinobi all across the battlefield were waking from the genjutsu.

Lee was crying into Guy's shoulder. "Where are the medical-nin?! We need treatment here!"

Sakura, who had been heading toward Sasuke, immediately diverted to assist.

Neji, Tenten, and the rest were stirring.

Shikamaru shoved his hands into his pockets, exhaling. "Finally… it's over."

"Yeah!" Chōji grinned.

Ino nodded, her expression both relieved and proud. "We've grown up a lot through this war."

Shikamaru turned and called out, "Dad! Are you there?"

At headquarters, Shikaku and the others woke as well, using the sensory water spheres to reestablish communication with the entire Allied Shinobi Forces. In moments, the network was alive again.

"Naruto!"

Hinata was running toward him at full speed.

"Hinata!"

He caught her in his arms. She buried her face into his chest, and he breathed in the gentle scent of her hair, finally allowing himself to relax.

Minato stood nearby with a soft, almost parental smile.

Sasuke glanced at them, snorted, and looked away.

With the sensory reports flowing in, Shikaku confirmed it beyond doubt:

The Fourth Great Ninja War… was over.
