Scene opens in a dimly lit holding cell.
The Leader (grinning menacingly from behind the glass): How will you save your world from the other you?
Now going on Secret Wars
Captain America (Sam Wilson): What are you talking about? What other me?
The Leader: There are… a lot of things. If I started explaining now, we might be here for years.
Captain America (slamming his fists on the glass): I want to know the truth. Just tell me.
The Leader (chuckling): Very well. There are different worlds, each in its own universe. Each has everything we do, but with slight changes. Imagine if Steve Rogers had given the shield to Bucky instead of you. What would that world look like? This is called the Multiverse. There are different versions of you. How will you protect your world when you come face to face with… yourself?
A soldier enters the room.
Soldier: Captain, the chopper is ready.
Sam casts one more glance at the Leader before turning and walking out. As the chopper blades begin to spin, Sam boards and takes a seat. During the flight, his mind races. The word "Multiverse" echoes in his thoughts. The questions pile up: What is the Multiverse? How many versions of himself could exist? What does the Leader know that he doesn't?
The chopper lands, and Sam wastes no time. He heads straight for Bruce Banner's residence.
Sam approaches a modest, cabin-like house on the edge of a forest. He knocks on the door. It creaks open, revealing a tall, muscular figure with greenish skin and long hair.
Skarr: Captain America. What do you want?
Sam (taken aback): Banner? Is that you?
Skarr: No, I'm Skarr. Bruce Banner's son.
Sam (confused): Wait, Banner has a son? Married? To who? Nat… Nat's gone, right?
Bruce Banner, now in his human form but with a slight green hue to his skin, steps into view.
Bruce Banner: Sam… Long time, no see.
Bruce hugs Sam briefly, a warm but slightly awkward gesture.
Bruce: Captain America now, huh? Congratulations.
Sam: Yeah. Thanks, man. I came because I need answers, and you're the only one who might have them.
Bruce: Why don't you come inside? We can talk.
Sam nods and steps inside. The interior is cozy, filled with books, scientific equipment, and faint remnants of Hulk-sized dents in the walls. They sit down at a table.
Bruce: What's on your mind?
Sam: The Multiverse. Tell me everything you know.
Bruce leans back, his expression shifting to one of concern.
