Without saying much of anything, she closed her eyes and began the process. Rael saw it firsthand, but Lilith was pretty much clueless. Despite that, the process was quite quick, and when it was finished, Eve opened her eyes.
They looked a lot sparklier this time, and that clearly meant a lot, since while she was dead, the fragment of her soul retained all the memories that had accumulated during the span of her death... until her grave was desecrated.
And now, as she glanced over at Lilith, she had a whole different perspective of her. Despite what she had expected, her daughter was far more vulnerable. She had so much to say... She seemed like a much stronger child when she was younger.
But alas, it was just her way of being a caring mother. Now that she knew the truth, and all the feelings that Lilith had shared with her in her insecurity, Eve had a whole different outlook on her now.
