As he patiently waited, the five minutes were finally up.
Before he could react, his body was enveloped in a powerful energy, and not long after, his sight vanished.
However, he could still very well feel his body. He could even move, but one step was all it took to realize that he was no longer in his mansion.
Instead, he was someplace else.
"Don't worry about the lack of sight, you'll adjust shortly," Kareth's voice rang out. "Furthermore, I have prepared a few treats that you might like."
"Is that so..." Rael sighed. "I take it that blinding the guest of honor is considered respectable from where you are from?"
"It's hardly my fault you are too weak to withstand such a high-level dimensional shift," Kareth replied plainly. "Furthermore, I am surprised you didn't wish to bring along any of your people."
