"Huh?" The girl whispered, her face frozen in bewilderment. She had no clue what Kiku was talking about, and she wasn't in a position to ask Kiku any questions; all she could do right now was to follow Kiku's lead, even if she was being too blunt to her.
Suddenly, Kiku turned to face the glimmering figure. Her eyes glowed with a deep, saturated blue that seemed to intensify, radiating even more brilliantly despite its already vivid hue.
All the remaining shadowy figures scuttered like smoke, torn in every direction without pause, leaving behind the glimmering figure with its expression almost frozen in shock.
The girl stepped back and stumbled, startled by the sudden movement of the shadows. She thought that they were going to attack them again with ferocious intent, but she was wrong.
"You… sitting over there?" Kiku murmured as if she were talking to herself while her eyes were fixed unwaveringly on the glimmering figure.
