Only the gods could fathom the reason why all of the knights who once bockered, and whispered, and murmured amongst themselves, could no longer bring themselves to say a single thing.
Silently, those who could see him where he stood, stared at him, and those who could not see him did stare in the direction in which he stood.
The audacious knight on the other hand could not dare meet his gaze any longer. His lashes had fallen over his eyes and his head and shoulders drooped.
His fingers did fidget with the sides of his breastplate for it seemingly felt suffocating. He had asked a question and the answer had been given directly to him now he could say no more.
"Dost thou have any further questions for me?" Cassius asks the knight. His voice, deep and calm, yet the authority that voice carried could not be missed.
Without looking up, the knight shook his head, vehemently showing he had no further questions to ask.
