"There's more than just gold—there are enchanted weapons and armor, too."
Erik's voice grew steadier, but what he reported became increasingly startling. "Including what we seized, there are a total of nineteen sets of enchanted armor and sixty-three enchanted weapons."
That much didn't surprise Rus. Just in Helati's vault alone, there had been five sets of enchanted armor and at least sixteen or seventeen weapons.
"Go on."
Erik paused. "That's all we've managed to sort for now, my lord. Just counting the gold took ages—we had to verify it multiple times, which really ate up our time."
"All right, then call it a day," Rus replied without concern. The treasure wasn't going anywhere, after all. "Tomorrow, pack the gold into crates for storage. Then bring in the gray dwarves to help with the rest."
"Yes, Baron!" Erik acknowledged with a bow and turned to leave.
